NPA faces difficulties in extraditing Guptas: Adv Shamila Batohi

The National Prosecuting Authority says it needs a strong political push to accelerate the extradition of the Gupta brothers from the United Arab Emirates. National Director of Public Prosecutions, Advocate Shamila Batohi, says efforts to set up a meeting with her UAE counterpart to establish why the extradition request has been unsuccessful, have failed. Batohi has addressed a media roundtable in Pretoria about the institution's priorities and strategic initiatives.
