These guys do acoustic versions of heavy songs very well, keeping the same energy of the original. Been listening to this album daily. It beats the first one in my opinion. Love their developed sound, including Metalcore stuff into their pop-rock sound.
anyone else notice every time he says static he does like the distortion sound...he makes sure to never fuck that up. Always liked that about this sound because it sounds like static interference or something lol so many small things like that in their writing

Fire ship dunno if you mean the high distorted/raspy notes or the clean notes. The clean is/should be a mixed resonant voice with enough compression/support and twang so it's not breathy. The rasps require activation of tissue above the vocal folds through supraglottal compression. The screams I'm not exactly sure since I've never done screams correctly

i noticed too. normally it's done with effects but i figured if anyone can mimic distortion effects it'd be dustin
