Right off the bat I said this before, and I’ll say it again until fate rains upon us, the ROTF leader class Optimus Prime is by far the most definitive movie Prime from 1-3 we’ve ever gotten. So much that MPM-4 honestly doesn’t impress me that much. The figure has aged so damn well especially you buy the Takara Buster Prime version. Seriously, there will never be a better Prime than the ROTF leader.

@@fen4554 Technically, of you go back and looks at some of the scenes in the DotM film, you can see that TF2 Megs and Shockwave have a similar body model in some spots. They're not that noticeable, but you can pick some of them out
I'd say in terms of accuracy, HA Jazz is definitely not as good as the MPM . Say what you want about everything else, but it's a fact that MPM Jazz was made to be as accurate as possible, with a proper back, and the head lights are in the right spot. In fact, I think the original 2007 Jazz is more accurate than the HA version.
Kinja Pleb the Human Alliance figure has a much more accurate head sculpt compared to the 07 figure. Jazz’s horns on the 07 figure we’re facing forward instead of backward on the HA version. Other than that, I can see the 07 being more accurate
I definitely skipped that Bumble Bee bc of Bumble bee fatigue. But I do want that figure. Definitely agree about Grimlock being #1. I marvel at that figure. Love the paint design and both modes. I need to get the DNA upgrade kit.

There was actually an official repaint of ss ROTF Megatron. They made him metallic, instead of that matte light grey. (made to match ss movie 1 megs) I also believe that MPM Prime used alot of the engineering and transformation tricks from the ROTF/DOTM optimus prime. ( 11:42 )
You are mistaken. Said repaint did happen, but it came with a Battle Damaged head, replicating the wound that Megs acquired in the end battle of RotF when prime shot megs in the head with his own arm cannon. Of course, that head wound would go on to be in DotM The main reason that the original SS Megs didn't have the metallic paint that the repaint had was most likely due to budget cost on paint. They of course had other figures like Jazz that the majority of his figure was coated in Silver paint. Therefore, due to their new budget, they couldn't make him coated in Silver paint so they left him gray.
Well the hunt for the decepticon mold for leaderclass optimus also was great since he looked more like in the forest battle with convertable energon blades that turned into his energon hooks
Movie megs 2 was another great choice. Protip for those with paints or gundam markers; Highlighting the edges of his chest armor shards with silver or chrome make a massive difference to how flat he looks. Takes 5 minutes but it makes him look master piece.
I have a 3rd party version of that leader class Starscream figure and it’s more fun to handle and transform than the MPM figure. They even kept the light&sound gimmick of the official Hasbro toy. I’m still hoping for a 3rd party version of that leader class Optimus Prime with the light and sound gimmick.

for #2, the better prime is the Revenge of the Fallen Prime (Japanese ver), it has chrome and silver paint, and also has the white outline around the flames, something every american version of Prime lacked.
So it’s 2021, everyone is making tier lists, so I think doing it would be a great idea, just that I think you should make more than one since there isn’t just one brand so yeah, it would be a great video
I loved the Studio Series Grimlock hes probably one of my favorite studio series figure, for me though the line had been some what a disappointment since every figure that I had from the Studio Series Line had a QC Issue but never had an issue with Grimlock he is one of the only movie figures besides my movie masterpiece figures that i have sitting on the shelf

The ROTF prime was the reason I started collecting studio series. I grabbed prime out from the back of my closet and wanted to finally complete an autobot crew. Such a shame that the Studio series scale SOOOO SMALL.
Sometimes a blend makes the perfect figure. Hasbro's evasion mode optimus in the hands of Wei Jang produces the most drop dead beautiful figure with die cast, automotive grade paint and chrome. They bump up the scale and remold any chunky bits so that they have new transforming parts. Plus it's about the price of a leader figure instead of hundreds.
Speaking of accuracy, what would your opinion be on a favorite _scale?_ These figures are all great, but putting them into vehicle modes together definitely holds problems. Even a giant Starscream figure like the HFTD mold would need cars to be Legion Class or even smaller to be in scale, while even the smallest versions of tiny characters like Sqweeks and the motorcycle trio would just barely be small enough for a Masterpiece collection. Some lines gave a solid scale a shot with varying success: the Human Alliance line is almost exclusively 1/24 (same as many car model kits), most MP car bots and MPM vehicles are 1/30, and Studio Series figures usually slide between 1/35 and 1/45 until larger vehicles need to get shrunken down to fit class sizes. So which size do you think is best for getting the biggest number of accurate and well made figures?

I like your list, but I feel like your choice for number one is Misleading. All of the images you used to describe it included a 3rd party addon kit to give him the extra hand and mace staff. I love my Grimlock, and I love that addon kit, but that undermines the rules of your own list, as the kit DOES improve his visual, and without it he has more than his fair share of inaccuracies compared to the movie model (that godawful tail/mace hand transformation being a BIG part of that) I look forward to your next video!
I completely understand where you’re coming from but the main figure would still been on this list regardless of this kit. The only different between this and the original was the hand and mace everything else is still the standard figure. Thanks for checking it out :)
