I'm overjoyed that the ATL finally has brought a championship back here but what bothers me is how the media and so many others are boosting the narrative of just being about Freddie Freeman! Yeah, he's been thru a lot with the braves but come on, people, we're really gonna sit up here and put Freddie up on a pedestal like the true reason why they finally won it all wasn't cause of the four new players brought in and especially Jorge!? Jorge literally carried that team on his shoulders thru the stretch of these last few games! All I'm saying is that I think it's a bit disrespectful 2 these other guys that actually had more of an impact of the final outcome. If Freddie was such a beast and legend why hasn't he propelled this team 2 a championship b4 now!? It's not a good look 4 baseball.

Bra I’ve been a braves fan since I started baseball as a kid and I’m 25 now wasn’t born when they went to the World Series in 95 but this just happened my whole entire life and I’m just happy for my home town and my team

Freddie is a good baseball player but I gotta be honest here, we and the media sit up here and act like Freddie is the sole reason why these guys won it all this year! This team was garbage including Freddie b4 they brought those 4 young players in especially Jorge! So the narrative is now all about Freddie? How, when Freddie has been on this team 4 God knows how many years and hasn't delivered on bringing a championship here 2 the ATL!? All I'm saying is that it's a little disrespectful 4 the media 2 try 2 twist this championship as being all about Freddie when the truth is, he was a mere cog in this operation...when in history has the MVP of a series not been the main focus!? Regardless of language barrier, Jorge and the whole team especially the bullpen should be paraded not just Freddie!
@@HaYahwarrior WTF are you talking about? Freddie was batting .300 for over a month before the trades. But that's not even really the point. The main reason so much focus is on Freddie is because he has been the most consistent player on the team for a decade and has taken a big pay cut to stay on the team as they rebuilt because he had faith in them to make it to this point. And has been with the organization for like 15 years. Not to mention he had the highest batting average for the post season on the team and the most HR for the post season. Also he is the leader of the team and has a direct impact on their mentality in the clubhouse behind the scenes. NL MVP's aren't mere cogs in a machine.
Happy for ATL. Now that I am back in the country, hope I get to experience this with my home team STL.
