Maven/Merk are my favorite commentary duo but Miles/Chance are catching them. They are great. Miles energy is contagious & Chance is really insightful.

@@dawitk3831 the stats that the cdl showed during this major speak otherwise 🤔 as far as I know they mostly struggled in express besides that I am pretty sure they played pretty good and overall but w/e floats your boat
The passion from Miles holy hell this series was insane.
Shout out Miles and Chance, did an amazing job casting this final. Having two really solid casting duos is awesome.
Also, Lando and Studdy getting better, definitely improved, now to get Lando to day Line OF sight, please man, it kills me everytime.

The one that gets me is when he says “NY” instead of “New York.” The abbreviation consists of the same number of syllables as the full name, and sounds dweebish. I agree that they are improving, though.
@@thegrichel2049 I'm not entirely sure, but I think I heard something that NYSL wants the CDL to pronounce it as the abbreviation.
@@ToineWehrens Interesting. “NYSL” doesn’t really grate on me, since that actually is shorter, syllabically, than “New York Subliners.” Just the solo “NY” sounds so strange to me 🤷♂️

Probably one of if not the craziest series we have ever seen.
I wouldnt say it's the craziest series we saw by the standard of there wasn't like a last map of the series round 11 like rokkr vs empire on Express, but it was the craziest and most exciting series we've seen because we haven't seen a team run through faze like that. I thought if the ultra were gonna win, they had to get every snd, and that just wasn't the case. As soon as the ultra stole that checkmate, I was like ight this can happen. And then halfway through that raid control, it was just the Bance and cleanx show all the way around. Was fun watching a dominant sub duo again that wasn't the tiny terrors, huke and shotz, or scump and envoy (even though they haven't looked to good as of late as we all know.) As a cod fan this was one of the greatest series for comp play we've seen in awhile. And reminded me when splyce would shake things up back in 2017. Also sorry for the little rant lol. I have third shift and am bored at the moment.

Here I had thought LAT were the dark horse this tournament... what an insane showing from TOR! Was an intense day from start to finish; well earned!
I'm gonna come out and say it: this is THE greatest tournament run in cod history, this blows the 100T run out of the water by a fucking mile, being such an underdog and beating the top3 teams in the league through a loser's bracket run on top being FaZe in a BEST OF 9??? 100% most historic moment

Imo you can talk about choking teams and so on but all of em play on a high level so anything can happen in this league by now I absolutely love it it's really entertaining big congrats to ultra amazing series
I honestly see at least 3 other teams winning a major this year. It's so competitive it's awesome and great for the league and us fans.

Used to not be a fan of Miles as a caster but so far this year he’s been my absolute favourite. Always brings great energy to every series, glad to see him and chance cast this one

@@jarvs211 Yeah, the OpTic v Accuracy thing was bad. It wasn't great positioning from OpTic (clearly, they just lined up), but it also wasn't a bad decision play (like the Moscow SnD artillery strike). The reason it's so notable is bc it was a Map 5 Round 11 and they *should* have won it.

Imo it's only that bad because it was a Map 5 Round 11 that cost them. It wasn't an objectively bad play that cost a round (like the artillery strike round in this series), it was just dumb positioning and incredibly good timing from Accuracy.

Damn.. I feel so sad watching the player reactions when they lose. CoD being a game you can only control so much at this level - where everyone's centering is on your player model, it's important to not let losing spiral into a negative mindset. "Keep ya head up" because we can learn each day

I said this yesterday man. Faze needs to fix their SnD game again cuz it's been looking pretty bad lately. Had they won all those SnDs they would have won the series. Ggs to Ultra though. They had an insane run and deserve all the credit for this massive win. They have my respect.

They lost both SnDs to LAG also lost vs NYSL, also vs Dallas and also vs Ultra again after they beat optic. Faze is just bad at SnD now. There's no excuse for them. It's something they have to work on.

This is the first full CDL match I've watched, and holy hell, I am going to keep watching. I get that this was a series of mind-blowing games and a lot of matches won't be this edge of your seat, but I get it now.

When LAT get a lot of practice under their belt, they will be a consistent top 4 team. A lot of teams are catching up to Faze. Ultra, LAG, and Rokk proved anyone team can be beat on any given Sunday. That’s why I love where comp cod is right now.

I'm an optic fan through and through but damn I love me some Alec. Also Cell is definitely one of my favorite players. The movement is insane and the gunny is so sexy. Love it.

Anyone else super excited to see what happens in the league with the new update/weapons patch in play? I feel like we will actually be able to see who’s getting headshot multiplier damage from accuracy or the natural recoil pattern... yes they’re pros I get it but most guns on Cold War had a mostly upward recoil pattern with the attachments the league uses so no need to tell me
