  • Much like the Crescent Hotel, the Basin Park Hotel has been a cornerstone piece to the town of Eureka Springs, AR. With tales of ghostly encounters, the Haunting History crew of Four State Paranormal had to make a return to this amazing town to see who still roams this limestone building. Will we experience paranormal activity or will other forces show us the way??

    I walked into the dark ballroom on the second floor one night last summer and something big, made of glass, crashed very loudly. Hotel employee came up there and we looked around. Nothing was broken. There was a fireplace with mirrors or glass near the door. It was intact too. Very scary experience.

    I have spent the night in the Crescent and the Basin Park. If you can only choose one, go Crescent. The history is cooler, the hotel is cooler and more of a period piece. Our room in the Basin Park looked like it was redone in about 1987 vintage. Mirrors, popcorn ceilings, bad carpet. In the Crescent, I have had some strange feelings and a couple of minor experiences. In the Basin Park, I felt nothing but regret that we did not stay in the Crescent again.

    Swear I heard "1906" come through during the spirit box session when the question was asked, "when was this hotel built?"

    I have 3 interesting pics taken from the live feed of ES webcam overlooking Spring Street toward Basin Park Hotel of a man and woman dressed in early 19th century dress apparel and the man and woman appear to be dimly lit shadow figures but yet clearly images of a couple who are ghostly images.

    Bullshit! The Army Corps of Engineers built the dams around there. That's why the Corps logo is on the dams. Fuller was also clerk, not mayor of Eureka Springs.

    • @HauntingHistory
      @HauntingHistory  Před 5 lety +2

      Just looked it up, Fuller was mayor from 1906 to 1910 and 1920 - 1928. Though he was also a clerk from 1898 - 1902. When he was in Congress he helped to authorize the building of the dam with the Water Supply Act which approved the construction in 1958. If ya want you can look it up.
