I had a cardiac arrest January 12 2018 (luckily I was in the ER) and this cartoon was what i was dreaming about while i was out. It's amazing how your mind can go back to time you thought you forgot........
I didn't even know they made a cartoon out of this. I remember watching the two VHS tapes, that I had of Richard Scarry, over and over again. This is too cute.
OMG! I so remember this from when I was little... LOL! Funny thing is I had completely and entirely forgotten about it until now! I remember watching this episode in particular when I was, like, 5 and it was on Nickelodeon, WOW!
Wait a minute. I used to watch this..... Was scrolling through a buzz feed article about forgotten cartoons and saw this thumbnail. Man this and Arthur were in tandem. Also I was born in 94’ but now I feel old. 😭
I remember watching this as a kid. I also remember being just as scared as Huckle before my first surgery in fifth grade. It wasn't my tonsils but on my arm. I had broken my arm for the second time and this time my radius and una snapped in half so they had to secure them together with metal plates and screws
Awww that must’ve been terrifying for a little kid. How old were you?? I know this is an old comment but I hope it wasn’t as scary and that you had a compassionate pediatric team
@@onewingangel1117 I was 10 and yeah I did the getting there and having to wait was terrible since I didn't go into shock this time. But once I was on the pain killers I was great while waiting for my surgery day. And I got a few gifts cause I was at school when the second time happened
When I had surgery when I was a teen, I was scared just like Huckle because I have heard horror stories of failed anesthesia causing people to be paralyzed, but awake and capable of feeling physical pain during surgery.
It's weird that I decided to watch this episode at a time like this. I'm 22 and haven't had anything wrong with me until now. I have to go and get a wisdom tooth pulled out in a week or two and I'm pretty nervous. But I'm looking forward to ice cream and jelly afterwards.
A tonsillectomy, huh? I've experienced these before multiple times, even though I never had one. I've just heard about them in TV shows, such as the fresh prince of bel air.
yes the shows should still have the old Cinar Logo because The Smoggies and The Busy World of Richard Scarry were done under CINAR way before Cookie Jar came in and took over to the credits of both shows should still have the old CINAR logo
from what I heard, they are a part of that newly formed DHXmedia which also has something to do with MLP FiM and Pound Puppies. could Cookie jar being gone also be the reason why Arthur is under 9 Story's roof?
"...you sleep right through the operation, and don't feel a thing. Unless the anistegiologist messes up the ratio of drugs. Then you're trapped in your body feeling the entire operation, unable to scream, wishing for death."
I remember watching this when I was nine and at my grandparents house (because they had cable and my parents didn't buy it)! LOL! This show was just precious! :)
im on a nostalgia binge. i need to escape my adult life for a little while.
Tom sparkles
We all do at times.
I always need to scape my adult life, always. hahaha
Oh I do too. And most classic cartoons like this are the best way to do so.
@@gaby_dieppa typical millennial
3:01 Dr Lion: And this is where I lose my job since I'm showing you another patients private medical files

Memories of my childhood! I've been searching this for a long time and I finally found it!
I didn't even know they made a cartoon out of this. I remember watching the two VHS tapes, that I had of Richard Scarry, over and over again. This is too cute.
"this is the emergency room. It's empty now, but not for long!" *pulls out glock 18*
I shouldn't have looked this up, now I'm going to be on here for hours.
Best kids show ever. (:
OMG! I so remember this from when I was little... LOL! Funny thing is I had completely and entirely forgotten about it until now! I remember watching this episode in particular when I was, like, 5 and it was on Nickelodeon, WOW!
Little goat: "The nurses are so nice and you get to stay up late -wink-"
lol
I'm 28 years old and still like this
Man... I haven't seen this in over a decade. I TOTALLY forgot about it for the longest time.
Talk about a HIPAA violation, letting them see Mr. Frumble's X-rays and all...
I really like the art style in this show. Im 20 and on a sentimental journey down memory lane 🤣
That was amazing! :)
Wait a minute. I used to watch this..... Was scrolling through a buzz feed article about forgotten cartoons and saw this thumbnail. Man this and Arthur were in tandem. Also I was born in 94’ but now I feel old. 😭
This is my favorite episode! :)
1:22 it feels like an intervention with all these people around
I watched this as a kid thanks for uploading these I plan to buy the DVDs from cookie Jar that has all the eppies from the 1993.

I remember this episode! I used to watch this show on Nickelodeon before they jacked it up with shows like iCarly and The Penguins of Madagascar.
That opening is the theme music of my bright childhood--along with Eureka's Castle, Rupert, and Little Bear!
THIS IS MUCH BETTER THAN DORA AND SPONGEBOB! I WANT THE 90'S BACK!
Damn. These memories are like a tidal wave.
I'm going to the hospital next month to get a GI test, because I have very bad acid reflux.
Holy shit it’s been a minute
I miss this show!!
aww i use to watch this when i was younger
When I had surgery when I was a teen, I was scared just like Huckle because I have heard horror stories of failed anesthesia causing people to be paralyzed, but awake and capable of feeling physical pain during surgery.
I bet the cartoon of my latest memories as they least at the hospital.
I remember seeing this when I was about 4 years old on Nick Jr.
I remember stuff like this, specifically for children but shown in such a sweet nice way. whatvdobthese poor kids have today?
What a good moral. "it's GONNA hurt a little, but it's for the best so suck it up."
this isn't sarcasm, I actually genuinely like it.
so... much... nostalgia...
Cute little baby
@dmc97ingc It is amazing what you see when you re-watch these great cartoons.
I have this episode in a book.
As with the animated Beetlejuice, Dr. Lion is voiced by Stephen Ouimette. Maybe Stephen accepted the role in an audition.
I was watching this when i was 5
why is lowiy eating Huckle's ice cream at 7:34 he is so funny ha ha ha
Holy crap I remember this episode!
It's been recently recommended NOT to remove your tonsils.
The only thing I remember from this show was the Paramount Pictures logo at the beginning.

Im 26 and currently getting a master's degree. it is perfectly ok to watch this.
Also how did Hilda get off the roof from 2:13
Holy shit my childhood
HOW DOES LOWLY DRIVE....these are the questions that keep us up at night
This reminds me of my adnoid operation before i turned 2 years old because she complained that i was snoring and it was only 10 minutes long
Tricia Cavagnaro What's an "adnoid?"
👨⚕️Doctor, doctor!
😍😍😍
that baby is so cute
I sprained my right foot last year and I had to go to physical therapy for a few months
There is a deleted scene where Huckle and Lowly meet Mr. Gronkle in the hospital.
A tonsillectomy, huh? I've experienced these before multiple times, even though I never had one. I've just heard about them in TV shows, such as the fresh prince of bel air.
NOSTALGIA
Good thing they didn't show them the D.O.A room
2:13, whats Hilda Hippo doing on the top of the hospital???
+broadwayindie Enjoying the view until she can visit someone else in the hospital?
This is a good cartoon for kids compared to crap they watch like paw patrol or Daniel tiger
i misheard busy world as disney world :D
yes the shows should still have the old Cinar Logo because The Smoggies and The Busy World of Richard Scarry were done under CINAR way before Cookie Jar came in and took over to the credits of both shows should still have the old CINAR logo
Why do i remember this?
And less than a month later, Richard died
I hope Mr. Frumble has good health insurance
My legs operated on when I was 9-years old. I have same problem than Spronggold have.
Operation is not danger
Check amazon, almost all of them are on dvd in full and cheap
I'm I the only one who noticed that when counting backwards he said 9/11 ?
How dare that worm put his dirty sneaker on the pig's bed. That bother me for some strange reason.
armaniandgucci lmfao
The audacity indeed
why do some people call it "ice CREAM" it makes it sound weird. It's "ICE cream" call it like THAT!
Dr. Lion should get a cane to be like Dr. House
2:13 HIPPO ON THE ROOF!!!!
6:43 , it predicted 9/11!!!!!
George temple had his tonsils out before shirley temple was born.
I admit, I had a Knee Operation back in Feburary. I didn't feel a thing.

BlazeHeartPanther Blaze Arthur aardvark or Hilda hippopotamus?
Does anyone know how old he is
lowly he's so funny tee hee hee
Maybe Huckle didn't wake up several hours after the surgery. The anesthisia probably had worn off completely.
Poor huckle
COOKIE JAR???!! I thought is Cinar?
It sure *was,* but it got changed to "Cookie Jar," and now it's DHX Media... at least that I know of.
4:20
or a WDVM.
@KittyKax if he lives in the usa but if he was in canada he's lucky
How old is Huckle
@dmc97ingc Animals are also not allowed in an operating room... Just saying, and how do we know that the Dr. got an MD
hawh
3:13 I DON'T THINK SO, SALLY......
Maybe he got a VMD or a DVM?
Lol tonsillectomy poor mr. Frummble
With a broken nose you can just go to the clinic not the hospital.
2:05 Page Doctor (what?).
That's so mean. Why would you do something like that?
it's a cartoon O_O
does it matter?
DrMadickz
"...you sleep right through the operation, and don't feel a thing. Unless the anistegiologist messes up the ratio of drugs. Then you're trapped in your body feeling the entire operation, unable to scream, wishing for death."
3:16 facepalm :DDD
I had my tonsils out when I was 8 and I watched this episode in my hospital recovery room eating ice cream
Goals
Inception
I think dr lion is the very first character from a kids show that I have watched that had face palmed... Oh the childhood was wonderful
I haven't seen these cartoons in ages.
I will definitely be showing this cartoon to my kids someday. :)
I remember watching this when I was nine and at my grandparents house (because they had cable and my parents didn't buy it)! LOL! This show was just precious! :)
