Haha! Thanks so much Wade! While Adam the Woo's brand of content is different from ours, he is an extremely talented youtuber and a very nice guy. We got to know him a little at vidcon last year, and his adventures have inspired us a lot over the years.

I think I heard on the news recently that the new owners of this building are removing the slide sometime very soon if it hasn’t happened already! What a bummer!
We're so sad to see this wonderful spot go! Hopefully another Sky Slide will make it's way onto another building in the area - although this one will always be a great memory.

Now, people have to travel to Dubai to go to something similar to this. They just opened a glass slide attraction to one of their hotels or skyscrapers this year.

The tourist attraction viewing deck and slide have been off-limits since the pandemic began, and now are closed forever. The building's new owner says the slide and public observation deck area will be remove and turned into office space. To those who rode it, be happy you did when you did.

I have an office in this building. Sometimes I land my Delorean on the helipad. Sometimes I jump off. Sometimes without a parachute.

I just found out this thing existed by reading article that it is being removed. The whole observation deck including the slide is being removed. 😞
Great fun. I'm sure due to the Covid-19 it's all closed now. Next time we go south I would like to check that out. My wife would never attempt the slide. Thanks and stay healthy, maintain a 6 ' space and wear a mask.

The Sundial restaurant on the 88th floor in Atlanta is cool. It turns as you eat to see Atlanta 360*. They also have chandeliers that sway. Actually they are stationary but appear to sway, because the building is swaying!

Enjoyed that, cheers. How's the Covid 19 affecting your ability to see things in the USA, are many public venues closed? Here in NZ we are under total lock-down; all places like that are shut.
All places around us are closed as well (And we are strong advocates for staying at home!), luckily, we visited a couple of spots earlier this year so we'll have one episode a month for a while. :)

All I can say is I used to change the lights on the top of those towers, and you count them as the highest point....
Lots in the mountains, and I pee'd on a bear once in Montana from one.
I would give that ride on the slide a try more than once ..lol crazy as hell 1,018 feet up above the ground seems kool
It’s actually less than 1,018 feet lol because the top of the entire building is that height. This is a little lower than that at 1,000 feet.
@@californiamade5608 To further reduce it you could say, "It's only 1K."
Add that one to "something I would never be able to do", if I ever make it to LA. Oh, going to LA is already on the list. Sorry.

Obviously filmed pre "stay at home ". I dont care how safe they say it is, you wont see me on that slide. 🤤😨
L.A. is so insane. From a european pov. It is in fact so flat ! When I watch satellite view, it seems so high but in fact most of the buildings have 1 or 2 stories. hHat's why people need their car. Density is really low indeed.
so the walls have three layers of glass but the slide has just one? if i didnt have a medical excuse, id get one!
