The checkerboard is just insanity... Amazingly well done. I'm going to buy 2 boxes from Perry soon, Knights and French Army and I can't believe how good you paint them. I just don't have such patience.. Really well done. Also a question about the Perry's boxes, do they come with shields or do they not have many?
Thank you for the compliment. The Perry are great minis. The French internet will have a couple of the later medieval knight square shields on the knigjy sprues while the infantry sprue have a few bucklers and pavise . Not enough to give to everyone though.
Hey there. I use citadel and vallejo paints. For the metals themselves I use oily steel from vallejo and wash it with nuln oil black from gw. Then I layer with citadel iron breaker then do the edgers with runefang steel. Also don’t forget to use thinner medium. Must have for metals ! Have fun painting
