The biggest plothole in FNAF is how people somehow allowed this to exist
That could be said about all every Freddy's location at any time.
@andyroobrick-a-brack9355 after the first, second and third the entire chain of animatronic restaurants wouldve stopped, likely cause companies dont want legal issues over the high chance of people dying due to rogue springlocks and angry poltergeist animatronics
Hell even after the first, people might to completely decide against animatronics and springlocks
Henry and William were too focused on the animatronic part that they forgot the human part (it's not like they care about human life anyway)
Capitalism
Right? I never understood it because like, mascot costumes exist and always have done, and not once have they ever needed a mechanical death machine inside them to be worn
The entire concept of the Springlock suit is perfect for the horror genre.
Its literally a trap, very similar to an Iron Maiden or analog to the Reverse Beartrap, but potentially worse.
Like, i could imagine Jigsaw using one of those for his victims:
_"You need to make the following challenge in time, while wearing the Springlock Suit. Doing any inconsistent or fast movement while in this suit will make the springlocks fail, killing you slowly, but brutally."_
And then he proceeds to explain the challenge, take a heavy object and carry it to a certain place with a timer running, but you are not allowed to drop it.
You would start to sweat, you would be nervous, you have to be quick, but your suit limits your possible movements.
Any stupid thing or mistake, will define your fate, this thing has no second change, once it activates, its a domino effect, you will have 0 chance of survival.
You are not William Afton, you have no antagonist powers.

For anyone saying “but the vocal chords”, springlocks dont just all lock up instantly it probably gradually locks up part by part
Yeah, its a chain reaction, once a springlock is set off, you might bump into something because of the pain, so, with bumping, you will trigger the other springlocks, causing a springlock failure
In 0:58, you can actually hear his throat get crushed by the metal spring lock

As someone in the medical field, I appreciate the solid amount of work you put into this, especially the explanations through the captions. It is rare to see someone use the term "pneumothorax" correctly outside of a medicine-focused video. I also have to give the guy in the suit credit, as a good percentage of people would've gone unconscious well before he had time to start choking on his own blood. Again, you did a great job here.
This is a certified pneumothorax moment

For those who are curious on how this suit would be if someone was inside it when it went off, it would start from the legs making your whole body fall with the suit, then to probably the worst part the pelvis for obvious reasons, then the chest piece would snap shut putting your screams out of commission, allowing blood to rapidly fill the lungs, as all the organs in your body gets punctured, and rearranged to fit the small space inside the suit, the chest piece also snaps the neck lock shut severing the vocal cords in your throat, then the arms will snap shut, shattering the bones like twigs, then finally the mask would completely destroy the skull, this would be THE MOST painful thing anyone will never experience because of how slow it would be because the locks have to go through bone, and muscle tissue before it could count as a fully closed animatronic

Bone crushing
Tha pain that you feel while wearing the springlock costume is unimaginable, all the layers of your skin, your muscles, your organs qnd your bones being severely damaged.
Hearing William’s flesh being torn apart by the springlock mechanisms, the abrupt ending to his screams as his larynx is crushed, and him drowning in his own blood in HD is horrifying
Fun fact: since your body only allows you to feel up to a certain physical amount of pain (limit would be breaking a bone) after the locks snap into you, your body is so numb you wouldn't feel the rest of the process, meaning a springlock failure is way less painful than people think
Nice point, unfortunately: czcams.com/video/I-Wr0Lj1FGc/video.html&ab_channel=JadeExplainsDeath
The limit to human pain is most CERTAINLY not breaking a bone. Researchers say that the amount of pain a human can take before becoming numb or passing out is about 11dol, aka I medicated childbirth or taking a blowtorch to the face. Plus, the animatronic wiring and crossbeams would literally crush all your bones part by part, most likely starting with your abdomens, arms, or legs, and more than likely your head, chest, and throat would be close to last as it’s one of the last things you move after everything else locks up. Trust me, that experience would be WAY worse than breaking a bone. Not sure where you’re getting your info but you might want to double check it.
I've broken bones and have kidney stones fairly regularly. I can say that shattering your nose is substantially LESS painful than a kidney stone.

I don't see a lot of people talking about the suit going into performance mode and playing that lullaby music as the innocent employee inside suffers one of the worst deaths imaginable. I can imagine myself in that situation, convulsing on the ground in an animatronic death suit - which became my tomb - as I drown in my own blood with no one there to save me.
The numerous audios out there of William Afton's death aren't as tough to listen to, as it was a completely well-deserved death for him. But the fact that, although it's fiction, countless employees really have met this gruesome end just by signing up for a 9 to 5 at a kids restaurant, and probably being lied to by their employers that the suits are safe... Scary shit.
Bravo, this is amazing.
William Afton is the only person to have suffered a spring lock failure. This is due to the spring bonnie suit being so old, rusty and wet from being poorly stored when he wore it for the last time. When normally maintained, these suits are fine. Just think about it, do you really think springs being wound into place can come undone so easily? Springlock systems exist in real life for other things.

This is one of the only audios that makes me dizzy during the build up to the failure, I actually had a very bad experience with a severe neck/throat injury almost a decade ago. I specifically imagine, almost _feel,_ the pain of a spring lock puncturing a victim’s neck as I remember how it felt when I got injured. It’s not debilitating but it is notable
I love how it went from 'oh shit' to the most agonizing, excrutiating sounds of pain ever to grace my ears

Others didn’t even know he deserved it or what happened. Imagine walking in and seeing your boss dead on the ground, mangled and bloody, as the suit tries to perform, further destroying the body. Jesus fucking Christ.
This audio is just... kind of sad. The captions state they're "practising walking," like it's the first time it's being used.
