She plays ok, has a really sweet voice but for my money her true gift is her writing. She has such a wonderful ability to write lyrics. Very few can write songs that feel so relevant to everyone. She just cuts to the real meaning of life and pain and loneliness and has true pathos. But as well as that she is such a sweetheart. A really lovely girl, but so vulnerable, i worry about how the industry will hurt her.

Her parents must be fabulous. She is so clever and kind and that creates social anxiety, which she clearly suffers a bit from. NEVER GIVE UP! It is hard to get noticed in this world and I think that many of us suffer from a false idea that being noticed by others is the way we know we are okay. Even if no one had ever noticed Catie, she would still be great. Think about that, because every single one of you is the same. The only gaze that matters is the gaze of people who love you.
