"Asking God what is wrong with me for not hating this man" what a story of love, grace and redemption.
This was sent to me by a close friend of Ike's, who happens to be a dear friend of mine. We are capable of incredible acts of love and forgiveness when Jesus is in control. What an inspiring story of a man who truly mirrors the love of Christ. It is how we should all strive to live!
This story saved me. If he was able to forgive and love that man, all of us are capable of forgiveness. Power of god is real 🙏

The third time I've watched this and I'm still crying. I hope we all strive to follow God this way. I'm not there yet but I can't wake up and not think about Ike's experience and at least not try to love and forgive more.

The story of Ike's incredible gesture of forgiveness and love was first brought to my attention at a men's bible study. A retired officer himself shared this tale with us. It stayed with me all week. I told him I was going to share his story with some men at an upcoming talk at a local Salvation Army. He sent me this link. I am still blown away at the compassion & love that Ike showed to Takoya, his son's murderer. Jesus works in ways that I don't understand. I may never understand. Yet I'm encouraged to continue to follow Him because of how He used Ike as His servant. An awesome and inspiring story.
If the tomb is empty, anything is possible! Man wow. This was a perfect example of what it means to follow Christ and be like Him. The love and forgiveness that Ike gave him was the same love and forgiveness that God gives us. Wow wow wow. Amazing!!!

Same here bro, wow it cuts me deeply inside thinking about her or seeing her and she doesn't speak to me no more, it's been one year but I've seen her two days of the week for the one year, I'm fighting this pain I've caused upon myself, i pray for your healing and also my healing and also for her to have an heart of forgiveness.
