Another good way to avoid break in the neck area is single braiding or twisting that area into sections. Since there is strength in combining strains of hair together. To avoid the hair from easily breaking from rubbing against clothing or other materials, Also one can French braid or flat twist the hairs in the neck area horizontally across to avoid breaking the hairs in that area.
