After you try Enhypen, check out the newer group "&Team" - The Werewolves arrived in December 2022 when HYBE-Japan introduced their 1st Japanese boy (jpop) group --- "&Team" with a werewolf concept/backstory. They are the "rivals" to Enhypen's vampires.
&Team includes 4 members (Taki, K, EJ & Nicholas) who competed in the ILand competition that chose the Enhypen members and they rated very high during the show.
&Team released a 4-track album in December. "&Team" mv/songs to watch:
* - Under the Skin (watch the extended long version (10:28 ) as it has the full backstory, including Enhypen in it. Also watch:
* "The Scent of You".
* Firework (newest)
You should also watch 2 songs from the &Audition competition:
*FinalCountdown" (3:48) ... &team was put together after an extensive "competition" . During that, all of the 15 competitors (&audition) did a mv/song "The Final Countdown" which introduced the werewolf concept.
Also as part of the &audition finals, some of the contestants performed a song
* "Running With The Pack" (3:04) that fits well with the Werewolves storyline.
The 4 members from ILand were automatically picked as "&Team" members .... they were joined at the completion of the &Audition process by 5 new members: Jo, Fuma, Harua, Maki, & Yuma. 6 of the 9 members are Japanese, 1 is Korean, 1 Taiwanese & 1 Japanese-German.
Because you are familiar with Enhypen, you will see that in the beginning of Enhypen's "Drunk-Dazed" mv that 2 of the &team members, K & EJ, appear at the beginning of it and at the Party (werewolves have brown school blazers); then Enhyphen (wearing vampire-black blazers) appears in the "Under the Skin" EXTENDED version mv.
The end of the extended “Under the Skin” music video, (10:28), picks up where “Drunk-Dazed” began, with EJ and K following a lone girl on her way to a party. She was being followed first by the black-hooded figures and then bats, which are present in other ENHYPEN music videos and commonly associated with vampires.
Despite their rivalry, both "&TEAM" and "ENHYPEN" seek to create unity. Their names purposely leverage punctuation to communicate their ideals, with the “&” of the "&TEAM" symbolizing its members’ solidarity as a pack and ENHYPEN’s “hyphen” or “line” representing the connection between its members and the line between human and vampire.
Suggestion for another K-POP group to react to: ENHYPEN
ENHYPEN debuted in 2020 from BeLift Labs, part of the BigHit/HYBE labels... they are like the "little, little brothers" of BTS and TXT.... As with BTS& TXT, they have a storyline woven through much of their songs/MV's.... ENHYPEN's is a Vampire/Paranormal vibe..

Welcome to the Blackpink Universe. It is a happy place. You will LOVE Lisa's Money and LaLisa music videos. Just FYI, Jisoo and Rose solo's are great, more traditional pop songs. Jennie solo, mix of rap and pop. Lisa's 2 solos are rap/trap heavy that you are likely to favorite. Lisa is the most popular Kpop Idol outside of S.Korea, over 90 million IG followers, her solos have broken all sorts of records. Jisoo is likely the least popular Blackpink member internationally, but she is a powerhouse in Korea/Asia. Jisoo has won numerous Lead Actress in Drama awards and is much in demand for Kdrama and Kmovies. Think combination of Jennifer Lawrence and Adele. Her song Flower has broken all sorts of sales records in Korea by a solo female Kpop idol, even being the first female Kpop song breaking into the British Top 40. Flower's lyrics, visuals and sound just hit with the Korean and overall Asian market more than the rap heavy BP songs, which nevertheless are very popular. Jisoo's recent monthly brand ranking (Number 1 overall for male or female Groups and Idols) beat out Blackpink's, the first time ever an individual Kpop Idol has done so over their group. Jisoo is the epitome of Korean beauty standards, and even ranked as the Most Beautiful Woman in the World 2022 by a British Fashion Magazine, It is easy to overlook Jisoo as she gets the least lines and least screen time on Blackpink music videos. But there are no weak links in Blackpink. BTW, Rose's 2 solo songs are all English, and are great. Lisa's Money is all English and awesome. Jennie's solo is partly English and totally awesome. With Rose, think Taylor Swift, singer/song writer/piano-guitar player/indie music (there are rumors Rose is actually working on a collab with Taylor). Lisa, think Beyonce. Jennie, think Rihanna. BTW, Beyonce wants to do a collab with Jisoo, and Justin Bieber wants a collab with Lisa.
