Yumna Zaidi is a flawless actress and a Queen! I cannot think of any other female actress who can do justice to this role. I think she'll be brilliant. You just cannot love this actress enough. She's cute, she's adorable, she's brave and she definitely is subtle.
Agreed so much, she's great. Plus she has the perfect looks to pass for a double roled character like this too, the boyish aspect of it. Most other actress I can think of have a very distinctly girly face, so even if they cut their hair and changed appearances, I think it'd be hard to pass as Bakhtu.

Also from what I've seen, if the unique subjects are presented in a good way, with good performances and production quality, then people are more willing to see them too. Like Parizaad, or even Sang e Mah. Raise people's standards and then they will not be into the star plus saas bahu torture serials anymore. And also the actors. Look at Feroze for example, all he does is toxic characters, but now for the first time in Habs the character is a somewhat nice, polite guy, and aren't people watching that too? His fans will watch whatever he acts in, and if he appears in different, better shows, they will readily watch that too. Same goes for other actors.

Yumna Zaidi is a flawless actress and a Queen! I cannot think of any other female actress who can do justice to this role. I think she'll be brilliant. You just cannot love this actress enough. She's cute, she's adorable, she's brave and she definitely is subtle.
Agreed so much, she's great. Plus she has the perfect looks to pass for a double roled character like this too, the boyish aspect of it. Most other actress I can think of have a very distinctly girly face, so even if they cut their hair and changed appearances, I think it'd be hard to pass as Bakhtu.

Look at Feroze for example, all he does is toxic characters, but now for the first time in Habs the character is a somewhat nice, polite guy, and aren't people watching that too? His fans will watch whatever he acts in, and if he appears in different, better shows, they will readily watch that too. Same goes for other actors.
