Loved Clean House! She definitely was the personality on that show.... Got to meet her real quickly because they were filming an episode of that show not far from where I lived 😄 It was the yard sale portion. Miss that show because it was such a way to motivate people to get their place in order 🏡

Oh, honey, I feel ya! Was in high school in the late 70s when a straight, no-hip, Farrah Fawcett figure was in vogue -- and I was a white girl with a bubble butt who couldn't wear Sasson jeans or Duckhead colored khakis. Always felt self-conscious about it until one day as I rounded a corner, a few of my black male bandmates starting singing Brick House by the Commodores. Never worried about it again! lol

She recently won an Emmy Award for her Best Supporting role in Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story. She's really good with dramatic roles too.

Super funny, but I’m not counting his shows(or the band) because the black people on his podcast stand out more to me because they are hand selected people that he personally, actually wants to talk to. (I assume 🤞🏽) Yes, they were all entertainers but they still have a predominantly positive influence in the black community. But I get it, though; He’s not obligated to have Robert Smith and Obama on every other episode.

Only privileged, detached from reality people believe that ''dreams come true''. No, in most cases, for most people (including those who also do their best) dreams do NOT come true. Look around and see how many good, talented, hard-working people are suffering and not getting their due - because in real world (not hollywood) reality comes crashing even if you did everything right, put maximum effort and learnt from your mistakes and believed in yourself. But sure, everything is ''divine'', including debilitating disease, abuse, war, starvation, violence etcetera (according to Niecy here)...
