Water features Dubai HDR HLG highlight in 4K UHD

- The Dubai Fountain is one of the highlights when visiting the Emirate of Dubai. The Dubai Fountains are not only beautiful to look at, but also free of charge. The light and water games take place here every day at noon and in the evening. A light and laser show on the Burj Khalifa completes the water features.
If you visit the Burj Khalifa, you will probably meet the Dubai Fountain anyway. With 1,000 fountains, 6,600 lights and 50 color projectors, the Dubai Fountain is the largest fountain system for light-water shows worldwide. The fountains reach a height of up to 152.4 meters and can carry up to 83,000 liters of water into the air at the same time. The fountain lights are 275 meters long.
To watch this video in real HDR HLG, you need a 4K HDR television. The latest TVs recognize the video as HDR HLG video and the TV changes itself. If not, switch the TV to HDR by hand. Another option is to watch the video on your smartphone in HDR. The latest smartphones can do that.

Hallo Eberhard, da bin ich aber überrascht, daß ihr in Dubai wart. Toll ! Ein sehr schönes Video, zumal dort zu filmen ist etwas schwierig, weil es nicht so einfach ist , den passenden Standort für die Aufnahmen zu finden. Vermutlich ist das Video von der Brücke aus aufgenommen worden ?! ...und gerade noch die "blaue Stunde " abgepaßt ! Sehr gut gemacht. Habe mir das Video auf den Stick gezogen und bei meinem Kollege, auf seinem 49 Zoll HDR Sony TV angeschaut. Einfach viel besser anzuschauen, als auf meinem 4 Jahre altem Panasonic TV (damals Spitzenmodell) ohne HDR. Die Farben sind toll ! Falls es der Virus in diesem Jahr erlaubt, sind wir im Juni auch wieder in Dubai und 3 Tage davon im Hotel Address Downtown. Das ist das mit der halbrunden Spitze, wo oben Emaar draufsteht, gleich gegenüber der Fontäne, in deinem Video bei Minute 0:38 und 0:46 zu sehen. Viele Grüße Evelin und Tadeusz
Hallo Tadeusz, vielen Dank für Deinen netten Kommentar. Wir wollten einfach mal schnell in die Sonne und da bietet sich Dubai einfach an. Seit unserem letzten Besuch vor 3 Jahren hat sich auch viel verändert. Durch Dein Video ( Dubai Monorail to Atlantis The Palm 2018 ) haben wir uns dann entschieden ein Hotel (W Dubai - The Palm ) auf der Palme zu nehmen. Wenn Ihr im Hotel Address Downtown seid, habt Ihr ja einen fantastischen Blick auf das ganze Spektakel vor dem Burj Khalifa. Da bin ich gespannt auf Deine Videos.
Du hast recht, die Aufnahmen wurden von der Brücke aufgenommen. Ja, die Farben kann man erst bei einem HDR-Fernseher richtig erkennen. Wir hatten uns ende letzten Jahres den 65 Zoll Oled von LG angeschafft und deshalb mache ich auch wenn möglich die Videos in HDR.

Sehr schöne Aufnahmen. 👍 Mit dem Platz hast Du ja wirklich Glück gehabt. Mit welcher Kamera hast Du aufgenommen? Wir hatten im Jan. 2019 Pech, die Wasserspiele fielen aus, aufgrund des Todes des Saudischen Königs. Wir freuten uns schon, weil wir einen guten Platz fanden.
Hallo Udo, der Platz ist super zum Aufnehmen. Aber bei den Wasserspielen war ein Filmen mit der Sony AX700 nicht möglich. Da nimmt keiner Rücksicht, wenn man filmen möchte. Also alles ist mit der AX700 in HDR aufgenommen nur die Wasserspiele musste ich mit Verlängerungsstab und der Osmo Pocket in Cine-D aufnehmen. War froh, dass ich die mit hatte. Habe dann die Aufnahmen in Edius mit der Primären Farbkorrektur angepasst.
Die Aufnahmen sind aber Super geworden. 👍
Danke, freut mich ganz besonders das von Dir zu hören. Du hast ja ebenfalls die Pocket und kennst die Stärken und Schwächen der Kamera.

Hallo an Euch, wir waren vor 2 Jahren das letzte mal dort. Aber es hat sich so viel neues ergeben dass es sich gelohnt hat. Ist auch der kürzeste Weg um mal wieder etwas dem Winter zu entfliehen.

Did u use the sony camcorder to shoot this ? Also how was focus set at the fountain ?
I think the dubai mall fountain is the reason why 99% of people go there, the place is extremely crowded on weekends you can never go between people let alone filming the fountain easily. I live just 140km away and i never visited the fountain just until last couple of weeks :)
Hello my friend, not so bad that we didn't meet. Maybe it will work later. Most of the video was shot with the AX700 in HDR. Unfortunately I had to film the fountain with the OSMO in Cine-D with an extension rod. I didn't get to the water on the bridge. There were too many people here too.
@@ebs4411 wow, the fountain shows looks amazing with that OSMO, i currently have 4 main cameras only that i shoot with, a 4k action cam called Akaso, the FZ2500, Mavic Pro and my stunning Note 10+, i was really hesitant to get the fx2500 OR the AX700, but i think watching ur videos like 1 year ago i decided to get the fz2500 :) the outshone lights issue i think i got it resolved, so that fountain video you have seen on my channel is not final, i think ill head there again soon for a second BETTER 4k version with darker images as many people advise but sharper lights at night, anyways. just got the smooth 4 and i was on a trip yesterday to dubai, and 2 new videos will be coming soon on my channel for Dubai Parks and Resorts ;)

@@ebs4411 and yes as u said the fountain is CRAZY crowded in weekends especially, some people sleep over there to watch all fountain shows which sux (just kidding) you have to squeeze and find a good spot to film, but great video overall !...
