French Macarons Recipe:
-90g Room temperature egg whites (approx. 2 large egg whites, for BEST results weigh the eggs)
-200g (1⅔ cup) Powdered sugar
-50g (4 tbsp) White sugar
-110g (4 ounces) Almond flour
-Pinch of salt
*PLEASE READ*: In the video I made a mistake converting the oven temperature.
Bake the cookes at 140 Celsius / 280 Fahrenheit.

Just made these! I filled them with jam and chocolate buttercream frosting, and they were delicious! They baked beautifully and were much easier to make, compared to other recipes. For anyone else who wishes to make these, I’d suggest using a filling that doesn’t have a lot of sugar, because the macarons themselves are very sweet. Lovely recipe, thank you!

I tried these, and they turned out perfect. I’ve attempted macaroons a couple of times before, but they never worked out, but these turned out great. I did pulse my almond flour and icing sugar in a food processor before sifting. Thank you so much for the recipe Emma!

Mind you, macarons are one of the best cookies to use for an ice cream sandwich. If you sandwich ice cream between two big macarons, it makes an ice cream sandwich in which the ice cream doesn't squish out of the cookies when you're eating it. I know because I've had one before, from a chain bakery.
