That story of the sadness of the Holy Spirit being similar to the sadness of a child going to bed without a bedtime story hit really hard. It made me see that when God asks me to do something, It's because he loves to be in relationship and wants to do things with me so we can enjoy each other and other people can enjoy him as well. Thats so powerful. Its less of a pointing finger from God and more of his open arms just waiting to be embraced by us. Thank you Preston for these messages. I really think they have been helping me to see the love of God and his personality more clearly. Starting to become more sensitive to the Holy Spirit moving in my life as well.
