Henry played with Zidane, Xavi, Iniesta, Vieira, Yaya Toure and whatnot but he thinks Kevin has the best brains is a BIG compliment.
Bergkamp too and his brain was levels.
Yaya Toure was nowhere near his prime when he was at Barca with Henry
@@petejohnson7965 True...
Bro mentioned every player and forgot Messi
Henry said true because Neymar also said that before
I believe KdB sees 10 seconds into the future. Thatâs how he makes those incredible passes.
What makes Kevin so great canât be taught, truly generational

Maybe he's actually psychic. In any case I can absolutely see him becoming genuinely the best manager in the world some day

Not exactly! What you mean to say is that he sees everything that happens at all times. He's like 'Jesus' the god not the player
KDB is one of the best midfielders of our time. He doesnât get the credit he deserves
I think because he is a quiet guy who just plays and does not draw any headlines with off the field behavior.
He does get the credit actually.
Anyone who knows football knows he is probably the best midfielder in the world.
He's THE best midfielder of this generation and probably all time.

Thierry Henry- Once a legend, always a legend.
Mad respect for how he played the game, thinks about it, and articulates it.
the way everyone just listens to thierry speak wow
Henry is special. The way they listen when he speaks. And then he says something so profound that Jamie and Micah had to explode some emotion.
Carra looked at him like he was a from another planet with those deep comments
Henry was a good player but heâs clearly not as sharp as he likes to think of himself. I mean he failed at his managerial career internationally and at club level so I wouldnât classify him as tactically adept.
thatâs cause those 2 didnât play with the likes of Zidane, Figo, Van Basten or those likes
@@yaroubthayer-752 itâs the cocky attitude which rightfully heâs earned to give off that attitude
KDB or L Modric, who is better?
Wow pure class this is absolutely amazing. Someone who sees and understands the importance.
WOW UNBELIEVABLE HOW HE CAN SAY THE WORDS WE ALL THOUGHT ABOUT OMG
Kevin De Bruyne is also a skiller. He has it in his locker and many people don't even know. He's so underrated.
What Henry is trying to say, is that Kevin is an enlightened football player.
3:13 Spot on TT. Legacy is about what you transmit and how you transcend. KDB is arguably one of the best footballers of this decade.
Not arguably! 100% one of the best of this generation/decade.
Kdb is the best player this generation who isnât messi or Ronaldo.
@@daquaviousbingleton9763 Relax. Don't get carried away
That confirms why De Bruyne struck me as frustrated when playing with his team in the World Cup. I was looking forward to seeing how Belgium fared with him, and it looked like on a handful of occasions he was waiting for his team to catch up with him. With his mind, apparently. That is a mark of someone special. ( No disrespect to Belgium. What could have been if Lukaku played throughout. ) De Brain
But the team isn't build around him.
They did great in WC2018. By 2022 and now, most of the team are fossils.
@@squirtreynoldscinema in 2018 it was Hazard vs everybody.

I love hearing Thierry talk about footbal, i love it, and just look at the other pundits, quiete, listening, no interruption, they are the same. Henry, what a Legend.
Big praise from probably the most talented cf the premier league has ever seen.
No he's simply the most talented player the Premier has ever seen
iIm a city fan but Thierry Henry is the best footballer the league has ever seen, he was a phenomenon
â@@driplerthadripper100%
The man make passes which many players won't even know are there and out of some who see it very few have the skill and technique to execute them. Then there is goalscoring quality with either leg. These type of players are very rare. Have been watching him since wolfsburg. Man is so talented and a joy to watch..
Henry was a magical player. You donât get many of them. Great ability and made you appreciate things about the game that no other player could demonstrate.
The way he talks about KevinâŠI also used to feel similarly about Fabregas in his pomp
Fabregas is more like Iniesta (and Xavi). De Bruyne is a whole new (rare) breed! You could argue he's more of a striker too than a midfielder! De Bruyne is a chameleon
@@haimainjauo242 While I do agree KDB is very different from Xavi, Iniesta, Modric, Fabregas etc. And is a World Class player, he isn't really a "rare" breed. Almost all of his plays in the pitch is that of a general Attacking midfielder. It's simply he is a monster at it.
I was lucky enough to see Kevin live and you could see he was on another level
Then why did he failed to disappoint in the world cup???
He def ain't even better than Alexis Mac Allister!!
The vision KDB possesses is something from an other world
Ive always said KDB sees passes that can only be seen if you were a watching the broadcast of the game on TV, almost impossible to see such things on the pitch and execute it with such nuance and perfection unless you are genius and he certainly is
Fortunate to have watched KDB live, it was the Man City Sevilla game, and he was rested, we were at 1-1, he comes on and within 3 minutes produces the best pass iâve ever seen with my own eyes and Alvarez finishes it, best midfielder in premier league history imo
Kevin has been on fire since Wolfsburg. Used to love watching him in the league
This panel is so fantastic when it gets into this mode. Just great work.
This is how a class player recognises a brilliant player đ
When Theirry Henry was presented with Premeir league's Footballer of the Year award, being introduced as a player whose helped made the PL what it is, on the MIC he said the PL had made him.
It's so good when Top-Top footballers don't just retire and disappear from the game, but are managers and are voicing their opinions on our screens.
What a signing he was for us/PL, he's as elegant and classy on the TV as he was on the green grass.
Every word Henry said was spot on. Well said.
Tt forget he is one of those guys that had that conversation with God!! The dude is such a humble footballer for someone who bless with unbelievable talent. But i do agree Ronaldinho was hand chosen by God, the greatest player ever imo. He will always be my favorite
Yeah my Favourite 3 are ronaldinho Henry and Messi
For sure 100%! But I dont think "these" players ever say those things about themselves. But man, Henry in his prime really doesnt have anything to "envy" about any player in history. He had it all himself.
â@@spinofthewheel5345 mine too
I agree with you on all points... Henry was insane... Dinho my GOAT; Zizou; Jay Jay Gerrad; Messi; Suarez; ; Cantona; Shearer; Xavi , Cr7, Drogba, Eto, Invests and Maradonna! This players are some of the best I ever watched. Dinho remains my GOAT. This list has nothing to do with trophies but what they did on the field.
DeBruyne is a hybrid of Beckham + all the best crosser/passers in the world.
And hes perfect on both feet (nobody is as consistent as him with both feet) and somebody please pull up his shot to goal ratio from outside the box. Never seen him sky the ball.
I was watching his pre-game analysis on KDB and he mentioned that he can get frustrated on occasion when things don't work out the way he sees them. During the game, Madrid beat their press a few times, but this one time they did and I could see Kevin on the edge of the screen raising his hands in frustration. Next thing you know the ball gets to Karim in a very dangerous area of the box. You usually associate that kind of vision with managers who are on the sideline. Kevin has it on the pitch. Thierry is absolutely spot on with his analysis. I think CBS are lucky to have him tbh.
Love Thierry speaking over playersâ€â€
When Henry is speaking everyone become silent to listing, he is a legend speaking about another legend
And then there are âconnaisseursâ saying KDB never shows up in big games. Total BS. His best games are against PSG, Liverpool, Real, Arsenal, Bayern, etc. He carries us to a CL final before, where Rudiger just knocked him off the pitch. Kevin really is special, and if Henry says so, we all should listen. Itâs that simple.
That just comes from people who rate players they like way above. His best game, for me, was vs Tottenham in the QF in 2019 and they won 4-3 which was not enough. Sometimes he is all alone making things happen and someone just messes it up, whether it is Pep or that City defense.
even for belgium all these years heâs been good, everyone else messing it up
@@number.2 Agreed, in 2018 they took third place in the world cup. KDBâs goal against Brasil was a rocket, kinda like the one against Madrid yesterday. He also created more than enough chances the last WC to send Croatia home, but Lukaku kept messing it up.
Firstly, no he does not show up in big games. The games youâve mentioned are outliers, maybe 1 in 10 big games heâll show up. Against Madrid yesterday he did not show up, heâs fortunate to have gotten the goal. Second, he absolutely did not carry Man City to a UCL Final. If it wasnât for cityâs defence that year they wouldnât get through PSG. And prior to his injury in the final he didnât do anything. Thirdly, for Belgium he also has a record of never showing up. And people want to talk about Lukaku missing the chances when KDB didnât create any for him to score.
@@MrSoccerPlayer7 how can he be fortunate to have scored a goal? He had already forced Courtois to make saves and Man City in the second half were in danger and he saved them.
From 2020 alone in the knockouts, he was City's best in the tie vs Madrid, the game vs Lyon, in 2021, he performed great vs Dortmund and PSG,
In 2022, he was great in knockouts again and was City's best player as he decided the game vs Atleti and was excellent vs Real, again.
Not to mention the numerous games he has decided in the Prem title race over the years vs Chelsea, United, Arsenal and Liverpool.
Dam i think this is the best take ive ever heard about football ever
When he says "The Brain" it sounds like "De Bruyne" lol
This is so refreshing to the ear and soul! Brilliant analysisâ€

â@@EmekaOUzo, I guess you didn't read "for the season" in that sentence. đ€Šđœââïž
Itâs INTERNASHIONALE đ€Ł
I've said this before, but people still don't quite get why him and Haaland are so scary together- people even keep spouting nonsense about how Haaland only scores so many because De Bruyne is so good with the assists. The fact is, Henry is absolutely right, De Bruyne sees things on a pitch that almost nobody else can see- and Haaland does the same thing. That's why Haaland gets so many tap-ins, or finds himself unmarked so often; hes a genius at reading the pitch, he can be stood in the box and realise that if he moves 6 inches to the left, he'll be more likely to score because of the positions of the other players. So having 2 players who both have that gift- one of them a world class passer and one of them a world class finisher- is why they're so effective, sometimes it's like those two are playing a completely different game to everyone else.
Xavi and Iniesta got the interview with God. Jamie and Mica still waiting in reception xD
I donât think they even cut it for reception thatâs why they laughed so hard đ
They are not even in the building of the reception đ€Ł

It's hard to win any of these tournaments and leagues. A lot of great players have won and lost some. We can't forget the actual play they did in their matches. Kevin is outstanding and will be remembered with or without trophies

I love listening to this guy.
probably the best analysis Thiery Henry has done on a player since he joined CBS. Incredible football mind. Amazing player and amazing analyst with a beautiful understanding of the game. Best video analysis by far.
2:28 spot on! this is why you never focus on the stats when we talk about midfielders. they are the heart that keeps the team alive. so you focus on the control that they have. that's what makes players like KDB, Xavi, Iniesta, Modric etc so important.
Henry man love how he speaks
Well said Legend T Henry Kdb is super genius
Henry was the assistant manager for belgium, hence he knows kdb more than a player perspective.
Such a deep thinker! No wonder he is Thierry!
I agree with Henry. I remember KdB from one of his first national matches for Belgium. Amazing player also then

KDB hitting the ball as hard as possible at Courtois, almost as if thereâs some animosity between them.
Seeing this vid again after several months and after the return of KDB in the match MCI against Newcastle ( januari 2024) , it is easy to understand that explanation of Th.Henri. How the game really changed when KDB stepped into the field , as a truly stage-commander and delivering it.
KDB good player and his version with the ball is out of this world
When Henry speaks, you listen, that's the kind of fella he is.
Henry is 100% right. As for me, Kevin is the best brain I have ever seen, unless those who never watch City games. He is always shinning when playing big teams.
When playing against Paris, people fear Messi & Mbappe.
But when playing City, people only fear Kevin because he is the engine.
Sometimes I think there are 3 hosts in this show đ, the way they ask TT questions đ
I think if you let him talk, De bruyne he could be one of the greatest manager in football when he retires...
David Silva tried to stop him .....
đđđđ
Finally someone said it..
Thierry Henry is so intelligent. Classđđđ
Messi usually hits under the ball (back spin like chip) to an area right next to the keeper.
Debruyne "consistently" whips (which is power and curves) the ball exactly to the players feet from long ranges with PRECISE WEIGHT on the ball (which makes it so much easier for the receiver) CONSISTENTLY.
Thats almost impossible to do.
stop it messi passes in tight spaces and KDB passes long crosses. Different type playmakers. Messi passing is clear of KDB
â@@MessiAndMichaelJackson KDB is the goat of midfielders. Stop it pessi fan
â@@MessiAndMichaelJackson wtf are you talking about Messi does and can do the same . I'll even say he does better passes consistently. The only reason de bruyne has more assists than Messi this season is because haaland don't miss , meanwhile mbappe is not having the best season
â@@hafizzx96 you clearly watched this video with one braincell remaining. De bruyne is not even better than Xavi and iniesta . And did you skim over the fact that even Henry said is impossible to be Messi ,it's impossible to be Xavi and iniesta but it's possible for kids to aspire to be like De bruyne .
â@@justwesleystop comparing kdb/haaland combo with messi/mbappe combo. Kdb and haaland are playing at the highest level and dominating UCL, messi/mbappe are struggling in a finished farmers league. KDB miles clear of messi this season
True talk Henry their his a kind of mind set he has that makes him different. U saw something that is deficult to explain about kelvin
I totally agree, KDB is a mad man on the pitch đ
What a great compliment. đ
Let's make this simple; There are players who won't have ridiculous numbers of assists and goals but they make the entire team play well and effectively. Kevin De Bruyne makes a team attack with a simple visual scan of the pitch.
I think Messi is the most clever, honestly he's mastered the game. He plays as if he's watching it from birds eye view, he's got absolutely everything meaning vision, passing, scoring, stats, dribbles and he knows when to do it and nearly every game he gets man of the match đ„ the problem that Messi has is that he's been doing it for so long that it's normal to everyone now but when someone like De Bruyne does half of what he does it's all headlines.. Internationally you can't talk about De Bruyne being the most clever because Messi just outshined him with his magic and intricate passage of play at the highest level of the game... He really is a true GOAT of football and this is coming from a CR7 fan đ
messi is an alien, different planet
I agree
Messi and ronaldo fans when nobody talking about their god for 1 sec (they r so fuckin annoying)
Messi fan here, Kevin is from another planet you can't analyse him for one year he s been unreal since 2014 and watching the 90% of his games I acknowledge is the greatest midfielder of all time his brain is as good as Messi but Messi is more complete with his skills goals and can play alone to score goals indeed in terms of passing are equals and vision key passes the same though
Like Thierry said, players like Messi, Ronaldinho and Zidane play like theyâre almost having a conversation with God. They probably wonât even be able to explain how they do what they do sometimes, cuz their instinctual creativity is so Godlike. Kevin is the best amongst humans, which is why Thierry says he has the best brain. You need to really think about the game to make an impact when youâre not a freak or an alien like Messi, R9, Ronaldinho, Zidane etc.
For me the most complete midfielder I've ever seen. Passing, shooting, pace, clutch the ultimate greatest midfielder of all time like Haaland if he keeps this level for 7 years or longer like Kevin
In the Premier League, more complete than Steven Gerrard?
KDB is an impactful player and he is so important for City and Belgium!! He deserves to compared to the likes of Kaka, Zidane, Ronaldinho, Baggio, and among other CM/CAM!! He is simply sensational in reading the game of football!!

De Bruyne have lost so many Champions league games prior that now.
He is now mature and evolve.
I think the point he was trying to make about Xavi and Iniesta is that they didnt have the goals or assists but they were still the most valuable players. KDB is the most valuable player in the same way as Xavi and Iniesta were, but he ALSO has the goals and assists season in, season out. Once in a lifetime player
