It could be a bit of pressure competing for an ideal home with a dozen renters, but it is like participating in a scavenger hunt game.
Haha yes true! I moved to Sydney shortly after making this apartment tour video and it was almost impossible to get approved anywhere since I had so much competition. I did manage in the end but I’m paying a lot more than in Melbourne for a much smaller apartment 🤷🏻♀️ good luck with your apartment hunt! I think the trick is to apply for several apartments at the same time and thankfully Melbourne has lots of great quality apartments on the rental market. Maybe you’ll find something in Melbourne Quarter. It’s such an amazing building. All the best!

In case the nursery didn’t tell you plants on balconies need more water as they dry out more from the heat and wind. Also congrats on the plant that is still alive inside and if you want an easy care indoor plants that is very hard to kill invest in a Peace Lily. 😊

Hi I was super lucky to get a huge covid discount and only paid $350 pw 😅
May I ask what’s the weekly rent of this apartment?
I was SUPER fortunate to get it for only $350 per week! My lease started just at the end of the last lockdown when the CBD was very empty and I got a covid deal :-) Now the same apartment is $670 per week!

I got soooo lucky because my lease started just when we got out of the last lockdown and there were lots of empty apartments in the city….i only paid $350 per week which was soooo good!
….and now they ask around $550-650 for apartments in this building 😅

I think between 50 and 60m2 and the rent is now $670 per week but used to be only $350 per week when I rented it last year!
