- This was exciting to share!!! My 5 month loc journey đ„° in this video I'll be sharing when I loc'd up, why, the experience so far and a video of the day I started them. Not sure how many I have, never took the time to actually count them... sorry to dissapoint đ€Ł
I will also say that's it's been the BEST DECISION I've made for my hair and I'm completely in love with them â€ïž if you're thinking about it... DO IT QUEEN, you won't regret it.
I just locâd up on Sept 15! Canât wait to continue this journey âșïž
Congratulations and definitely stick with it â€
I started my journey 15 months ago. The best decision ever!!
Yes! Congratulations babe đ
Your hair color is beautiful and it truly compliments your skin tone perfectly.
Thank you â€ïž
I love how free you are and how you love on your locs! That's how I am, I literally just started my two strand twist on Jan. 15 and I can't keep my hands from touching them with love. Every other video I saw the girls are so strict with their hair.
Oh yes, thatâs one of the reasons I locâd up đ to be free. I recently started putting more water and oil in them and wow⊠they are soft and feel moisturized.
You have a lovely personality! I canât wait to see what you have in store for your hair. I locked my hair in March 2022 đ
Thank you, Iâm looking forward to all the styles I can do with it đ
I'm growing out a tapered cut as well, so your look is encouraging meeee đ
Theyâre going to be beautiful, treat them well and hang in there!
Wow.., youâre beautiful and I love your color and locs!
Thank you so much đ
12-17-23 4 months in the game and I'm loving the progress no styles yet i think i will wait to mt 1 yr 8-17-24 . i was told not to was them but like you about a month i washed them and now no stocking cap just in the shower and let the mist hit it and I'm in love.
4 months in, congratulations đŸ youâre going to love the growing process.
Iâm glad I stumbled on your video đ my hair is growing out from a tapered and I wanted two strand and Iâm happy to see yours Iâm literally doing my hair as I type
I love it!!! Go for it girl, itâs going to be beautiful đ
Your locs are beautiful!!! I just started my loc journey about 2 weeks ago. Thank u for this video. Very informative. đđŸ
Thank you and Iâm so happy to hear you joined the Loc community â€ïž be patient and enjoy the process!
YEEESSSSSSSS QUEEN. I LOVE YOUR LOCS. They are gorgeous. Im considering starting my loc journey after being a loose natural for 18 years. Yes i agree don't compare journeys bc Comparison is thief of joy.
Thank you queen⊠I say shoot for it! I think youâll love it â€ïž I love that saying⊠âComparison is the thief of joy!â Say it louder!
Thank you for the encouragement I have been wearing two strands for the past two weeks. I had a consultation today with my loctician. I scheduled my starter loc appointment for 3/29. Im excited to start my journey.@@cacherichey
Youâre locs are so beautiful đ„°â€ïž love the color of them â€ïž

@@MelloneeKecia omg đ„Č thank you for the support â€ïž
Yes!!! I'm tired of the loose natural also!!
Completely over that đ
I'm excited to start my loc journey! I'm waiting for my hair to grow out, it's quite low right now. My hair is too frizzy and my hair styles don't last very long and sometimes I can't be bothered with my hair. I think locs will fit me.
Congratulations â€ïž
I just loc'd up two days ago. Can't wait to enjoy the journey
Omg, CONGRATULATIONS đ be patient and love on them!! You wonât regret joining the Loc community đ
Lol me too, I went with the 2 strand twist method and I don't know how many I have but I finger parted mine as I wanted that fuller look. I'm not concerned with definition of parts.
â@@cachericheythank you
Your locs are beautiful. We started around the same time I started 3-31-2022. Just subbed btw
Thank you so much for the support đ I canât wait to start styling them.
Your locs are thriving. You may find the longer they get, the less youâll want to retwist. Maybe itâs just me, but I love the semi free form look â€â€
Iâm in between, some days I feel like leave them be but because theyâre still new I canât keep my hands out of them đ
@@cacherichey I get itâŠitâs definitely a feelingâŠThank you for responding.. stay blessed â€ïžâ€ïž
Hey Cashe, I've been on my Loc Journey since September 15 of last year. I also started with the two-strand-twist. After watching countless videos on locs, I jumped in with both feet. So many videos on does and dont's wills and wonts. Lol. Don't do this, do this, this will grow your locs or will make your locs lock faster, this won't make your hair lock faster. I just had to finally say my journey is for me and me alone and my hair is my own. I will say I found a product that I truly like created by a person with locs. It's called loclicious. It's very light and does not cause build up. I've been using that since I started and I really like it. They are natural ingredients so that helps too. I've subscribed to your channel because I like your whole vibe. Your locs are pretty too. Thanks for sharing your journey
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SUBSCRIBING â€ïž youâre going to enjoy the Loc journey and I hope you stick with it. Yes, everyone will experience something different when it comes to locs⊠I listen but Iâll always try my own thing đ thank you for sharing that product, Iâll have to look into that.
Thank you. You are beautiful and you look so young, I was surprised you have kids. You look amazing in locs. I have a three strand at the moment.... I'll turn it into two.
Thank you so much â€ïž and thank you for watching! I bet your hair looks bomb!!!
Your locs are gorgeous!!! I love your hair color ! I started my first set of locs with two strand as well , but recently just did coils . Letâs stay locâd đ
Thank you †Iâm definitely staying locâd⊠I fell in love đ
@@cacherichey what color please. Beautiful!!!
@@naturalnicole40 thank you, I used adore and I know it was a ginger color but I donât exactly which one. However, this is a faded color after a year of it being colored.
My loc anniversary is April 2, 2022. Iâm happy to be 7 months along my loc journey. I enjoyed your video and your vibe. New subscriber here!
My tip is to wear a silk or satin bonnet to bed every night. A silk scarf will also protect your locs from lint and from losing moisture from absorption by cotton fabrics but a bonnet gives your locs room to move around and I believe this encourages your hair to loc faster.
Omg, thank you so much for the tip â€ïž and welcome new sub bestie, I hope you enjoy my channel.
Beautiful hair and it matches with your skin color making you look very pretty. I'm not a locks person but your hair makes me look at locks differently.
Thank you đđŸ I understand tho, for the longest I was the same way and then they just grew on me a little after my son wanted to Loc up. I think after taking care of his hair and watching the growth I fell in love and wanted to try it for myself.

Iâm a week ago, July 11th â€
Whoop whoo, congratulations đ youâre going to love them!!!
I love â€ïž your locs! I have been doing my research and watching videos like you and I am looking to do locs. Like you I have been a loose natural since 2008 and I have done it all as well and Iâm tired of doing just hair all the dog on time. My question is I heard you mention that you condition your hair and I have heard donât condition it because of the lint, now I heard you say people told you donât do this and that and you did the opposite, so how does conditioning work out for you? My hair is tapered on the sides and back so I will be starting out line yours. I was thinking it would not look like but looking at yours itâs gonna look nice
Itâs going to be beautiful and I think you should go for it. I strongly believe in trying any and everything to see what works for you. If it doesnât work, stop doing it, but if it does⊠even better. I personally condition my hair more then shampoo it and itâs just fine. I started from a tapered haircut and love the layered look. Go for it, you wonât regret it!
@@cacherichey thank you! I now have 2 strand twist in to see if Iâm gonna like this and continue on. Thank you for the advice, and letting me no that conditioning is just fine, I just need to make sure I get all of the conditioner out and if I donât I can do a apple cider vinegar rinse

Yes I agree, Iâm learning my own way, out of curiosity do you braid and band?
I havenât washed mine yet but I think I will braid and band at first
No I havenât tried that, to be truly honest with you since Iâve Loc my hair I have only worn it exactly how it is in the video đ I just recently tried my first style and it was just a half up, half down look.
Beautiful
Thank you đđŸ
You look as young as your daughter.tfs

I love the color what color is this if u donât mind
I used the adore hair color a year ago and it was a ginger color. Over time it became this color. I donât remember the two colors I used, Iâm sorry⊠I just walked in the beauty store seen two pretty ginger colors and couldnât decide so I mixed them and prayed to GOD it worked.
@@cacherichey do you use oils?
I started mine August 8th #2monthslocâd
Congratulations đ be patient and have fun with them.
I want to lock up but itâs hard for me to find someone to do it
You donât have to go to a salon, if you can find anyone to neatly do small to medium size two strand twist in your hair then save you some money. I did my daughters hair myself but it dis help that I had someone else do the back for me.
What color is your hair it's beautiful
Thank you đ so months before I locâd up I attempted to color my hair a ginger color and it didnât turn out right⊠but I left it and now itâs lighter. Iâm not sure if itâs from fading, the sun, chlorine or what.
Do you use conditioner?
I do, and it feels amazing đ
@@cacherichey did you use conditioner with your starter locs?
@@Sexyy4life I sure did and nothing happened. Now I did wait about a month and a half in but Iâve been conditioning them since and theyâre doing just fine.
I just started my locs may 8 2023 Iâm just going to use oils and water and just leave them alone to grow
Thatâs literally all I do, congratulations đŸ â€ïžđ„° just love on them and have fun with them!
