i kinda feel bad for Moreau. He only wants to his mother to love him. He doesn't even have a nice place to stay compared to the others. Dimitresu has a castle, Beneviento has a mansion, and Heisenberg has a wole factory. Moreau lives in a miserable, run down harbor and the only things he seems to have is an old TV and some furniture

There’s a reason Ethan is the only RE protag that’s gotten laid.
Moreau actually makes me sad. The other house leaders and Miranda look so low on him, and you can clearly see he's willing to do anything to change their opinion on him and suffers from their judgment. His lifestyle compared to Dimitrescu, Heisenberg and Beneviento is another proof that Miranda utterly neglects him. Life just seemed like a burden to him :'(

The fact that he speaks English and is fairly articulate makes hurting him feel really shitty. He's not just some beast like an RE6 boss, or cackling and saying evil shit like the family in RE7.

This Ethan guy is a certified badass besides being resilient af, whenever he confronts one of these monstrosities he has a very cynical and almost casual reaction to them, he belittles and bullies them, with every quip and breath he takes. It seems he is not trapped in the village with all these monsters, they are trapped in it with him.

I honestly cried watching this because all this fishy dude wanted was his "mother's" approval and love; he didn't know mother Miranda was just using him. He didn't want to die; he honestly didn't even want to hurt Ethan at all in my opinion, but his "mom" told him to kill him so he tried in order to make her happy. Technically, Moreau is using it fully. It’s his human side that doesn’t want to as he just wants to be respected and loved. He’s even friendly towards Ethan in some parts, but then Miranda’s hold over him takes over. Kind of like a split personality disorder.
And also the fact of not wanting everyone have 100 percent control of their powers, shit Heisenberg was ready to overthrow her
He didn't want to fight Ethan but she forced him to fight ethan to see if Ethan can replace the others in the family
The virus , or the mold doesnt work that way. Actually is the host capacibility to adapt to the mold that does the trick. Moreau didnt mix well with the mold so he ended like that . Dimitrescu mix almosto perfect but not really. It makes her being prisioner of blood and flesh to survive and keep her form. Otherwise she will lose control too . Moreau doesnt even control his mold. The transformation ocurrs on him without his wants
I agree to this, but probably maybe Moreau’s body itself is the problem, just like in real life people’s body differ, some have higher immune system and strong not to get sick, while some have low immune system. Maybe the 4 children/lords of Mother Miranda were all given the same dosage of the virus but out of the 4 Moreau can’t handle it.

@@insertname1607 but you gotta admit that would be interesting story where Ethan instead gives him respect and instead of attacking he stalls letting you escape after a bit perhaps seeing how Heisenberg acts to try and understand this new treatment maybe after the fight he can lead you to Miranda and he perhaps explains himself and shows how he even though the most monstrous of the lords is still human perhaps being killed by Miranda to help Ethan escape allowing him to die being able to know kindness but also see himself as more then just a tool

RE8 is like RE3.5 revisited. There are castle, hallucination, dolls and seemingly supernatural enemies. It tick all the check boxes.

I love all the people saying they feel bad for Moreau, an evil being that helped play a part in the dismembering of an infant and their kidnapping just to impress his mom. Like can we get some genuine down to earth perspective here.
I don’t think he had anything to do with the process that dismembered Rose. I remember reading in a journal that he was surprised when Mother Miranda gave him a “Rose Jar” like he was the last of the lords to know anything. Not saying he was good, but compared to the others there was more humanity to him.

This is not a black and white situation bro. Sure, he committed atrocities, but he wasn't inherently and originally bad. Give some credit where it's due.
