£40 for ONE preset is such a scam; I can't believe some people have the audacity to charge young and easily influenced people so much money for a few settings here and there! Play around with colors, warmth and undertones and you'll end up figuring out Josie's style in no time. I have.

agreed, Huge professionally photographers on CZcams like Peter McKinnon create beautiful presets to sell and he only charges $20 for his whole package. £40 for one is absolutely awful

Exactly, makes me think some people just play around with settings and say "yeah, that'll do" and add it to a package without any real knowledge, then charge you all that money...pfft.

Great video Freddy! Never knew how people did that wit their photoos because I know nothing about computers! But I dont like that everyone takes out the greens because I love greenery and flowers and it looks so strange when that suddenly turns grey 😳

My tip is that I use ibis x paint to edit and give a pinkish colour with like some pink soft background and I take them to like 18-34 visual and that's it 💄🛍️💌
I really appreciate this video, particularly for young girls with social media who need to see that their 'normal' photos are probably no different to anyone else's because it does take editing and planning to create a grid like yours.:)
its so weird haha, literally just hours before this was posted, i was actually looking through your feed, just admiring and like taking notes at what it is you do to get that aesthetic because its just me all over, and i noted that you did actually have something pink in every picture and i absolutely adored it but didn't know if that was purposely or you just happened to have something pink on you everyday. its just quite funny how i was thinking about it and then this got posted almost straight after
Fun to see how you edit-soft, light and always pretty. If anyone wonders,,Vibrancy in Lightroom is pretty smart. It looks for colors that are muted and boosts them gently while also avoiding skin tones. Saturation is heavy-handed and intensifies every color whether it’s already intense or not. Too much and an image can look radio-active 🙀 With Lightroom’s brush tool, you can Brush on any of the effects to very specific areas if you don’t want global adjustments. PS crop tool, all apps have it, is terrific for recomposing an image or just straightening it up so horizons etc are good.
After doing a quick search on Google, Saturation and Vibrancy are pretty much like brightness and contrast respectively; saturation intensifies all the colours in the image (same as brightness brightens the entire image), whereas vibrancy leaves the colours alone that don't need saturation and intensifies the colours that are muted (same as contrast that deals with things like the bright and dark areas of the image).
It's all about aesthetic and that's great. I love coming across instagram accounts that have a nice fluid aesthetic to it or like a moodboard feel.

the second photo you can avoid the darks if you flip the other way so the sun in in your face rather than behind you! :) love seeing other peoples edits. There are really so many ways to do things in lightroom and even more if you also use photoshop
oh and you can also up the exposure of specific parts of the image in lightroom as well. its the brush adjustment

This video was so helpful, thank you Freddy! Also a tip for anyone who wants to get the same look for free/cheap a combination of Snapseed and VSCO can get you most of the same tools as Lightroom, that’s what I use (fingers crossed I’ll someday be able to get Lightroom!!) xx

For anyone that wants to edit their instagram photo’s in this way then you do not need to purchase Lightroom on a pc/mac! You can use the exact same features using the free Lightroom app! Thanks Freddy for this tutorial ♡

I also hate orange in my images.But funnily enough I love green and blue and cool tones haha. This was really in depth and interesting. It's amazing how a bit of tweaking can completely transform and enhance the beauty of an image.
I must say though, I remember coming across your instagram a while back and I thought it was one of the prettiest I'd ever seen. You clearly put a lot of effort into maintaining a cohesive theme and it pays off!

The lightroom app is actually free so you can just use the curves and the color mix on that as well. It misses a few features but it does the trick

Instagram definitely brings out the narcissism in people anyway your instagram is aesthetically pleasing to the eye cause of the soft pastel colors and I tend to be drawn to people with those kind of instagram theme cause it’s just so pretty to me
