October 2019. I’m chilling in a Fairmont hotel with some liquor and my laptop. I fucked up and lost my ID on the bus ride back into the city. Was supposed to go to a major EDM concert with the gang.
I ended up having a chilling night by myself and I found this track plus Decompression by Harrison BDP. First time hearing modern deep house. Was changed forever. I knew from then on this was the genre of my soul and I’ve been producing tracks ever since. Seemed meant to be.

Either people are scared to criticize because of all the positive comments or they are downvoted so much that you have to really search for them.This happens alot on really bad songs too its hard to find bad comments about it and i can't tell why, honestly on the majority of youtube videos now it almost seems like bad comments are omitted from the comment sections. Haven't seen a bad comment for a long time.. weird.

I discovered this song just 7 months ago but today I revisited it and I can honestly say that this is, to me, not an empty song like many that are "produced". I feel this song as skillfully thought through and I consider it melodic, uplifting, and thought-inducing all at once.
It doesn't all have to be romantic love. How about we spend more time thinking of our roles as humanity, and spread the feeling of gratefulness because we are in this Earth.

Man just thinking back in 2018 when I discovered this while vacationing in America, it just made the holiday something special. Whenever I hear this track I have fond memories of all the adventures
next time you come here make sure to visit Chicago & go to the clubs that birthed house music, I live here & there are so many great venues playing out deep house w/ great people until 2-4am every night :) (I have only been blessed to hear this song or Decompression by Harrison BDP maybe 8 times irl, and it has been magical every single time seeing people experience them for the first time)

im not even going to lie this song intentionally or unintentionally is the single most meaningful song I've ever heard and I can't tell if I haven't listened to enough music or something but there really isn't much that compares to this piece of music

People say that electronic music is easy to make but I am a house producer, and upon analysing this track, this really is the work of a genius. The amount of detail and intricacy in this track is insane even though it sounds so simple. I could group this track with other expertly crafted songs and musical compositions throughout history.

I‘m both grateful and surprised that this genre is still alive, with many artists still producing a good amount of music fitting in that genre. I personally find it kind of hard to name the specific genre, it sounds like what i would imagine deep house sounded in the 80s. Great stuff, really relaxing and a pleasure to listen to.
