I work as a MOA and I never knew that you allow the patient to hang up first. This is a mistake I've been making but I am glad I learned this.
How hard is it being a moa? I did my externship and didn't do much there due to covid. The billing and insurance is so confusing but I didn't handle that because all I did was data entry.
What if nobody is in the office with you....?

@IxMERCYxI I would have to say negative on that. I just finished with school and am on my externship. It might be true the the Doctors tend to be more white then black, but medical assistants and nurses are mixed relatively evenly. You can have corn rows, but as long as you keep your hair clean, the doctor or office manager would most likely not have a problem.
