Hi Beach. I to am in a wheelchair but luckily live in Australia. We have ndis which assist us in everyday life. Good medical as well which is also free of charge. I think being disabled and homeless would be horrible. You stay well and look after yourself thanks for your comments
@@johnbastiani9673 It's been 8 years, since I got paralyzed and my house is still not handicap accessible. I can't even take a shower in my own home. I can't reach the sinks or stove. It really sucks. I'm very lucky to have a caregive, but, there are so many things I could do for myself, if my house was set up for it. I'm so lucky to have a home. To see someone in a wheelchair, on the streets, Breaks My Heart!

Michael - if a woman doesn't have children and asks for diapers, you may want to ask if she needs sanitary supplies. Homeless women will use diapers because they can make one diaper into 3 or 4 sanitary pads
He does supply feminine products to the women who need them.
She was an older woman. She probably has incontinence problems.

Maybe some donors can bump up your coffee supply and or Hot chocolate! Its getting colder so those are very much wanted and would make a better day for someone, better days lead to better feelings, which leads to better action and can help with self recovery, that's why when I see people complain about you handing out cigarettes I know they have no clue how much that can improve your mood on the street!

Your work is highly commendable. Do you ever give out resource pamphlets or sheet? I was out helping a organization here in Pima county and we were handing out resource pamphlets along with hand warmers, food, water bottles, blankets, even some jackets, some just needing to be pointed in the right direction of where they could apply for social security benefits
