Thank you Hannah for another valuable video.
I'd like to ask if its ok to create multiple IG ar FB account that are niche specific? Or is possible? Thanks and please keep sharing tips for POD.
Ty so much as a 14 year old who barely understands these stuff and is just starting off is amazing Ty so much ur Videos was so useful you help me start my business
You are so welcome!
Hi there, great video ! I donât see the link for the video for social media you have
Same. Looking for it.
Hi Hannah, I paid for a subscription for Kittl, but my mockups still show the Kittl name on the bottom right hand corner of my designs. What are your thoughts? It will show on my etsy thumbnails.
Fantastic video Hannah! Can you do this A-Z for Amazon Merch as well. I'm just getting started and so many videos are focused on Etsy. I would really just like a workflow for merch without getting side tracked with so many references to other platforms. I feel like for newbies this is one of the biggest obstacles. Trying to just focus without all the distractions of thinking they need to be on multiple marketplaces. It may be true that we should be everywhere, but when you're just getting started it can really lead to analysis paralysis thinking you have to 'do it all'.
Yes! That's a great idea! I have some older videos that feature the Merch process more heavily, but they are certainly due for an update.
@@hannahebeling Thank you for considering an updated video on it! Also, if you use ads, could you mention your strategy for that in the video as well?
Helpful and inspiring as always - thanks, Hannah!
I have a question about the thumbnail/primary mockup photo - Iâve read that Etsy requires it to be either a photo of the actual (already produced) product, OR a photo supplied by the manufacturer of the product. Word on the street is that some Etsy stores are being suspended because of mockup photos made using websites like PlaceIt. What do you know about that?
You need to make sure that any mockup you use is representing the product as close as possible and you will be fine. I also like to include those product mockups from printify in the listing as well since they give the truest representation of the color and placement.
@@hannahebeling thx so much for your quick (and reassuring) reply!
Great video! As a new seller, do I need to purchase both kittl and canva? And also creative fabrica?
I think you really only need 1 good design suite to get started. Kittl has been my go to for a while!
Hi Hannah, do you run ads on your âBest Sellerâ listings or is better to turn them off? My listing got the best seller badge yesterday but Iâm debating in turning off ads or not, Iâm fairly new to Etsy and still learning. Thank you for the valuable video â€
If you are new to ads, I always think itâs good to start with the products that already sell well organically. This gives you some peace of mind that you wonât be throwing money away with bad SEO.
Great video Hannah, can you talk about the strategy for making Amazon ads
Great suggestion!
HELP!!!!! , do you know Etsy old listing format will be gone this month? How we are going to make bundle listings? I was trying last night and its making impossible to add more than one products. Please we'll need help!!!!!!
Which blank products do you use for your T-shirt? I confuse between Comfort Color and Gildan
I like Bella + canvas!
I am also considering these two products from Printify, but there are some aspects I'm not satisfied with. Can you suggest some suppliers with similar products that are made in the US?
Do Etsy have a hold on payputs after someone purchases or is payment available soon after?
A hold
When you are a newer seller the hold can be longer, but later you can get your funds shortly after the product has been received be the buyer.
In one of your videos you talked about starting your Instagram boutique. I am going to try it, but i dont want to actually be in it myself. Is that ok? I am a grandma and, just learning all this exciting stuff.
Thatâs totally fine! If you have a good mockup subscription like Placeit, you can get tons of photos of people to post in your shop wearing your items.
Is there a lot of cost for starting something like this? Great video by the way.
Thank you! I actually have a video from about 2 weeks ago that goes over some of the cost to get started. Itâs pretty low cost, but I suggest having a little available to pay for the wholesale cost of several orders before youâre reimbursed.
â@@hannahebelingthank u!
â@@SophiaRoseApothecarythank u for your response and of course nothing is free, that is why my question to Hannah was is the cost high to start something like this.. Not if it were free.
Wonder full video....Hannah...how to sell floral print on etsy...will you please upload A video on floral print on etsy for understanding...
I know how to create design..like textile design, graphic design, print design....etc...
Should i niche down in the same way for my whole Etsy store? So in your example would you only do pharmacist designs throughout the store?
If you are very new to POD, I might suggest having a more general shop for a while until you pinpoint a niche that does really well for you. Then you could think about also opening a more specific store!
@@hannahebeling thank you, Iâve been stuck for the past week thinking over what I need to base my store around lol this will help me focus in on whatâs selling
Do we have to have a business account on Etsy or can it be a personal account?
It can be personal.
Do you run ads or the products sell themselves
It totally depends on the product! I run Etsy ads on some and some just sell organically.
I really need to make money and want to support my parents
Me too. Can we share experience and grow together?
I need the link to get printify to Etsy I cannot seem to find how to do that
Look for âPrintify Etsy integrationâ on my channel. That will have step by step instructions.
Is SOCCER niche better now a days
Every mockup video I've watched leaves out this particular step: You downloaded your design from Kittl in a significantly larger file than what is allowed to display on the Placeit mockups, yet you show the design being placed on the mockup when it should have been impossible. Would you please fill in the step between downloading the too large file and being able to use said file for the Placeit mockup? Thanks. Otherwise, a very useful video.
Actually the exact design I used for my items on printify is what I uploaded to Placeit. Itâs possible in the past this was an issue, but Iâve never had a problem using the same pixel size designs. Hope that helps!
@@hannahebeling Thank you for your reply. The design you downloaded was 4500 X 5625 px, yet Placeit requires an image of 750 X 1200 px. What voodoo are you using to make that image fit those requirements? It makes no sense that it's seamless and automatic. Anytime I've tried to do the same with my high pixel designs, Placeit says my file is too large (duh!). Sorry for playing the dumb guy, but you seem to be implying that it "just works" for you without modifications to the original image which is, again, apparently too large for downloading to Placeit. I wouldn't blame you if you ignored this reply because I just may have some sort of logic block in my brain since none of your fellow creators address this issue as if it's inconsequential. My fix would be to convert the png to jpg which is easy to do in any image generator, or just download the original design in both png and jpg so the jpg could be used in Placeit. If you have the time and can stop laughing, I'd appreciate your thoughts.
@@jclyde6543 I haven't had any issues saving a Kittl design file at 4500 x 5400, 300 dpi PNG; and using said file in Printify/PlaceIt to make mockups. It just...uploads (automatically), scales accordingly, and works which is why I don't think you'd hear any noise to address it.
Try emailing PlaceIt, or seek the wisdom of reddit incase it was an issue in the past. Otherwise, a good old clear your cache and cookies could do the trick đ€·ââ
@@Hypnosis0512 Many thanks for your help. I had downloaded my designs (as advised) at the highest size which, of course, resulted in a huge file size, significantly larger than the 5mb limit on Placeit. So I opened the files in Paint and reduced the size by 70% to get around the limit, but still retaining the larger file for Printify. All is good. You're on my Christmas card list now!
You can always download another copy of the file at 72 dpi and it fixes that
I have found niches, post them and then nothing 2 sales in 1 year
Gotta post more
Did you run any paid ads?
