Followed this video and it worked! Thank you to Ford Motor Company for making what could’ve been a two second plug-in process a complete pain in the arse.
So just to put this out there I installed and didn’t have access to forscan right away and towed my trailer, it works without programming you just don’t have the screen to see the settings. I just set it like you should without the screen.
I bought an “OEM” one on Amazon and installed this Sunday. Battery was dead today. Set my vehicle back as it was and returned the item. Guess I have to get the $270.00 one direct from FORD.
@@pauljuliegiffen8928 that’s what I’m thinking. Amazon stuff is hit and miss. Thanks for your sharing your experience bud…Over the years I’ve learned just go with the better performance brand part or from factory.
Hello, I did a trip from New Mexico to Georgia with trailer and had no Issues. Have used the trailer multiple times since then and its still working great.
