I’m hade a eyeball one like this for a long while, It’s the BEST!
These are actually so sick! Picked one up myself but it was unluckily defective out of box. One of the baseplates wasn't threaded properly so my truck keeps falling off, and the hangar on the front truck was bent. Used it for a while, and still would be if I didn't pick up a Teak custom complete. It's wheels have bearings, but they're CNC so they're super "plastic-y". The wheels from the Performance Series are perfect for it though!
Awesome review dude. I finally got my hands on one. Super dope series for sure. Hoping for the return of besring wheels on a tech deck!

On the deck that you’ve used for a year now, if you roll the wheels on some duct tape they’ll come out clean like straight out of the pack. It’s a pretty useful hack that I’ve done for a while now

haha I just did the same. just finished putting mine together. the wheels aren't grippy at all tho and the board itself is a bit rattlely. gonna try and get a tech deck performance one next

your clips are so satisfying
At first when I got my Primitive Performance Series board, I thought the wheels were too grippy (and they still kind of are but a tiny bit less grippy after some use) but I really started to enjoy them as powerslides felt SOO good. Shame they don't have any bearings but the satisfying powerslides make up for it.

did you grind the bolt on the trucks down? It seems to stick up high and catches on everything when I try to grind.

Do the trucks have a single axle going through them? The old ones years ago didn't and would always break on me

You can use clear tape to clean the grip it is so useful cause dirty grip is like paper it doesn’t grip at all

My wheels cracked and I only have the plastic hubs they have now, and the layers on the front of my deck are coming out

I got my performance series and they had a full stock. Next week I went and there was nothing and hasn’t been ever since
