Nice video of Grants Head, Alex. Vinegar Creek, Main Beach....the caravan park, SLC building, the shops. All very, very familiar to me. Back in the 1950's/1960's there was sand-mining along that stretch, from North Haven in the south to beyond Lake Cathie in the north. Thankfully the government of the day made a strict ruling that the environment had to be returned to as close as it was prior to the dredging and they also put a ban on any development north of BH, which is why the coast along there, to Tacking Point, looks as it did sixty years ago. Sometimes bureaucrats actually do things which work out right.
