To see your video make me hungry, I love Indonesian food and I am glad to see you eating Indonesian food. Very cheap but in here so expensive
The sate you're order actually sate Madura but the vendor gives you sate Taican which is sate style with the chilli sambal only, not with the peanut sauce like it's usually serve. Sundanesse sate call "sate Maranggi" which is famous in Purwakarta one of region in West Java. But you can find it also in Bandung.

Hi Carlos, you need to know that the special foods from West Java, Central Java and East Java are different. for typical food from West Java, it is more dominated by spicy and sour flavors, in West Java, many use vegetables in their typical food. for Central Java, typical food uses more coconut milk and is also dominated by sweet taste, so don't be surprised if indeed food or drinks in Central Java and Jogjakarta usually add sugar. For typical East Javanese cuisine, it has a salty or spicy taste.
Helping or giving something to others.. will end up for yourself too. You will get the same thing from other people, that's the reason for Indonesian hospitality.Since childhood we have always been taught to help and share with others, even I was taught from a young age to smile at everyone when they pass each other. If I don't do it my mom will be mad 😊
You have a good mindset! Especially if you're good to others and help them, without expecting go get anything in exchange - that's real humanity. And it's just a little bonus (or good karma) that something good happens to you as well or when someone shares something with you ☺

Try eating Soto Lamongan, you can get it anywhere, so Soto doesn't only exist in Lamongan, it's also available in Jakarta, you have to try it because it tastes fresh, it's delicious.The taste is different from the usual chicken soup, and maybe if you go to Jakarta, try the Betawi soup too, the soup contains meat and uses coconut milk, especially the Lamongan soup, you really have to try it✌️. Soto Lamongan is also in Jakarta, maybe you can try it while you try Soto Betawi 🙏

The roasted pork is really good and Nasi Campur Hainam. If you go to Jakarta you have to go to Glodok Pancoran, lots of delicious Chinese food

Bakso Goreng usually dont have anything because it's considered as Snack or Side Dish😅 Just eat it like that and dip it into sambal/spicy sauce, not like regular Bakso (soup version) that has noodles, veggie etc....
Recommend makanan bandung : Batagor, tahu gejrot, seblak, ayam gepuk, mie kocok bandung, cilok/cireng/cimol, cuanki, oncom, & colenak

bakso goreng does not come with noodles and other stuff. it's just bakso. you get 5 pcs for 1 portion, or you can also buy 1 pcs. usually people add the bakso to the mix rice.
bakso that comes with soup and noodles are mie bakso, but even this, you can request with no noodles and just bakso.
Jajanan Bandung yg banyak sekali pilihannya.
Namum masih banyak yg kurang bahasa inggrisnya....
Ini harus di tingkatkan lagi, bahasa sendiri memang bagus, namun bahasa inggris itu penting, mohon koreksi kalo salah☺️

Or at least your translation app tp avoid misunderstanding that might occur. I never know the real price here in Bandung. But seems to vary between 2k and 5k. I recently paid 10k in Lembang Shopping Center. Old Pasar Building inside. At the parkir counter with the woman behind the glass. 10k 😅 I have never paid 10k for parkir in Jawa so far

Hallo Carlos, if you want typical West Javanese food / Sundanese food you can come to the rumah makan Ampera or rumah makan Laksana on jalan Sukarno Hatta or the more authentic Mak Uneh restaurant on Jalan Pajajaran
Many people recommended Ampera already. Seems that I really should check out that place 😀

2000 is a normal parking price. Yogyakarta has much lower minimum wage compared to other cities so it's pretty much an outlier.

Just walk a little more south from sate dj, you will find best martabak in bandung, martabak nikmat andir, try pandan susu keju martabak
I think for one portion of the pork bakso is like what you get when you buy just 1 pcs,the deferent just the pcs of the bakso

Hi Carlos, i think you need to check on google what kind of traditional food in every place that you visit. At least you know the name and look so you can avoid miss understanding with food street sellers or locals.
Hello carlos in bandung, we never called west java food. In bandung we say Sundanese food, u should try 1. nasi liwet
2. Nasi tutug oncom
3. Batagor
4. Seblak 🔥
5. Pepes
6. Karedok
And my favorite Sundanese food in bandung, in warung nasi bu imas, bancakan 👍
I tried Batagor already and today I had Pepes. Karedok I ate in Bali. Enak ☺
Carlos, giving food to middle class Indonesian people is not common (for the culture). Please, you can not force them. They are always afraid that it will be poisoned etc. Not to mention that they are afraid of the diet (they are pork, some of the employees are Moslem and they don't eat pork). If you want to give food, give it to the poor people (and tell them whether it is pork or not). I hope that you understand this. Please understand our culture. Although they are pork foods for non moslem, please also be considerate to the moslem people who are working there !!! (I know that it is not common). THE GUY DID NOT WANT TO EAT BECAUSE HE IS MOSLEM !!!

@@WildCARLOSappeared just bring it to the poor people outside (wrap the food and bring it with you). But if it is a pork, i think that it will be difficult to find somebody would like to eat it (80% are moslem, and pork is very sensitive if they eat it). Better to put the food on the trash outside. Be careful with RELIGION BLASPHEMY LAW in Indonesia, forcing moslem to eat pork, you can go to jail.
@@WildCARLOSappeared My thoughts exactly about food sharing especially in bigger cities like Bandung or Jakarta, people are more individualistic especially when it comes to middle class Indonesian people. Perhaps Carlos, you can try straight forward ask the seller "bisa setengah porsi aja? (can i have in half portion only?)" or "mau beli sedikit aja, mau coba bisa?" (i just wanna try a lil bit, can i ?") especially to prevent leftovers for non halal food that you can not share with the others.
Or if it doesn't meet like you have mentioned above, the least you can try is to share with online drivers/ people who spend their most of their times in the 'street'. But you might to have extra careful when you go on the street, bigger cities attracts bigger problems if you know what i mean.

Yeah.. we have 2 kind of peuyeum:
1. Peuyeum sampeu/singkong (sweet fermented cassava)
2. Peuyeum Ketan (sweet fermented sticky rice). We have a black one and white one.
The most popular peuyeum ketan comes from the region in West Java, Kuningan.. The sweet, refreshing peuyeum ketan wrapped with guava leaf, make is so fragrant..
You can try Cuanki Serayu in Jalan Serayu or Batagor Riri

West Java refers to Administrative Region and Sundanese refers to Native Ethnic's Group that settled in West Java Province including culture, cullinary, and local language.

@@WildCARLOSappeared CFD(car free day is highly recomenden)evry sunday morning 6am-10am.there are 6 defrent spot in jakarta for CFD i guess.but CFD in jl.sudirman-bundaran HI(hotel indonesia)is the best one in my humble opinion.it’s also near several places like monas,istiqlal mosque and cathedral.i know these places are so hype among other foreigner vloger.again it’s all up to u ,mate.but i do highly recomended CFD
