Huge Queen fan here; this is a great cover, especially the manner in which they combined the songs into a medley (which is itself something that Queen was known for)
The “Flash/The Hero” medley is truly a hell of a medley! Queen opened their 1982 Milton Keynes show with this and it’s so amazing!

This is bad ass. I’m glad you guys appreciated the Flash songs to cover these two. Most Queen fans kind of hold the Flash album as an after thought and just something they did for a campy movie back in the day. It really is awesome though and pretty ingenious.

So beautifully over the top, in true Queen fashion. Really cool how they combined the Flash Theme with The Hero into a single song. There aren't many bands that can pull off Queen's multilayered operatic style without sounding like a parody, but these guys absolutely nailed it.

I just heard this cover for the first time this morning on the radio. Holy F$%&! I was grinning with the stereo cranked, fist pumping in the air, driving to work. Tears flooding my eyes right now, bringing back memories of the last movie my late grandfather took me to, Flash Gordon. One of my guily pleasures. Always have been a fan of Queen, and you guys nailed it. Freddie would be proud!
