    Funny how the guide said that they finally figured out that they were good to eat when my dad used to chase them in Canada with his friends 50 years ago for the table fare. On fly rods no less. So much fun😃😃. Great video. Thanks 🎣🎣🎣

    I fish across the pond on grand traverse bays. Catch whitefish and Cisco's on my big lake trout spoons. Couldn't believe that fish with such small mouths will hit large spoons and rapalas in the summer. Thanks for the great video, keep em coming.

    Excellent! What jighead was used? Short shank and fairly heavy.

    I know this isn't relevant to this video at all, but I'm curious what your favorite spring bobber/ indicator is? I've tried quite a few and haven't been impressed with most. Tight lines jmo

      lifted Ninja think we have tried most. A heavy pierce of mono can work well for real finesse. Titanium is usually the most durable. Don’t like the springs that insert into rod tip.

    Whats the limits for whitefish in that area?

  • @tylerellis1254
    @tylerellis1254 Před 4 lety

    Do you believe green bay can with stand all that pressure? That's a lot of guys keeping fish? What's the limit?

    • @JasonMitchellOutdoors
      @JasonMitchellOutdoors  Před 4 lety +1

      Limit of ten fish per person. I don’t think anglers have much of an impact right now as there is a tremendous amount of water and the pressure is brief in that anglers really only target and have access to catch white fish about three months out of the year.

      We used to have a great whitefish fishery on Lake Huron, commercial fishing has really hurt it.
