Also I know that this ship may not resonate with some of you and you may have your own head cannons which I don't really mind but it doesn't mean that you have to discourage other people and tell them that they are wrong. This video is NOT an area for you to complain about the ship and tear other people down for believing in the ship, in fact you shouldn't really do that with any ship (unless it's problematic and causes harm). A far as I see it Luiasy is cannon because of the multiple references in games and a specific Nintendo power interview. But I can see how people don't believe in it because it's undeveloped like a lot of Mario character relationships.

Daisy has statues dedicated to her love for Luigi, he must be the most amazing boyfriend on the planet if she went as far as to put it on display for her kingdom. Also the fact she called him sweetie is absolutely adorable!

@@BOOMBoom-tv4kv Well not a lot of the toads respect him, and sometimes even Peach is a bit harsh, when the Mario & Luigi and Paper Mario series colided, when peach and paper peach were in a cage together, normal peach made a kinda rude comment towards luigi.
I love Daisy and Luigiâs relationship more than Mario and Peach. Unlike the latter, who both suffer from one-dimensional personalities, Luigi and Daisyâs personalities are not only more interesting but also work well off each other. Luigi is the shy but sweet guy whoâs easy to scare while Daisy is the tough tomboy princess who doesnât take nonsense from anyone. Their both polar opposites yet compliment each other so well. I can easily imagine Daisy as the female-husband who always stands up for Luigi and push him to be more self-confidant, while Luigi helps Daisy calm down and serve as her emotional support when it comes to her fiery temper. Itâs just so cute and I wish Nintendo would do more with themâŠ

Having now seen the new movie, I reckon Luigi & Daisy could be a good subplot for a sequel - especially considering the film's characterisation of Luigi as someone a touch insecure of how Mario has always looked out for him since childhood.

Bruh... First of all, Daisy's first non-sports title was and is still Super Mario Land. The first one in which she was playable in a main series title was in Super Mario Run. Now, Super Mario Bros Wonder exists and we have Daisy playable in a main series title once again. We might not be visiting Sarasaland, but we will see Luigi and Daisy be playable together.

I pretty much love that pairing of Luigi and Daisy together because they work so well together as a very functional couple who support one another, on top of that, both of them spend so much more time together without being kidnapped every day. No offense or anything but the way Mario and Peach work, it's like the whole kidnapping everyday thing by Bowser made the whole relationship a lot complicated and it's not normal at all for kidnappings to happen everyday. Daisy is definitely a real tough girl that don't get kidnapped often and she already fell head over heels for Luigi and he has the same feelings for her too, he's a bit shy but very sweet to her. In a way, Luigi and Daisy are perfect for each other and I rate that couple a lot higher. Sorry, but in the couples department, I give that gold medal to Luigi and Daisy on that one.

I wouldn't say "to this day" because in recent years that love-crazy aspect of amy is toned down if not completely gone. Sonic himself has shown some interest in Amy occasionally too.
As for Mario and Peach it fluctuates through games. Paper Mario likes to keep it ambiguous but the mainline games (as well as some of the sports stuff) imply that there is some romantic tension.
There are now 3 reasons why I think Mario x Peach is cannon:
At the end of Super Mario Oddysey, Mario had enough confidence to attempt to ask Peach to marry him. You gotta be more than besties to even consider engagement.
In LINE's "Mario's relaxing life" animated sticker collection, there's a sticker where they romantically lean towards each other while watching the sunset.
And the Mario movie that just came out has a little romantic tension between the two. Its not a lot but it feels like it could be further developed in a sequel.
