The difficulty of being an artist

Being an artist is quite a journey, you know? It's like walking on a path full of ups and downs, a real rollercoaster of feelings. There's this time to create, express what's inside us, but it also comes with a load of challenges that many people don't see.
Sometimes it feels like we're there on stage, painting, writing, singing, but the feedback doesn't knock on the door. It's a bit of a sinister move, because the money is little, the opportunities are limited and there are some obstacles in the way that only those who are at this stage know about. And that hurts, you know? Because it's a crazy dedication, of the soul.
There's this wave of platforms not always helping, like, the algorithm has almost become an enemy. We work hard to produce, we do our best, but it seems like the recognition isn't enough. And that, bro, ends up messing with our faith in our own art.
And then there's this pressure, right? This demand to be successful, to reach a level that is not always within our reach. Sometimes it makes you want to drop everything, throw in the towel and follow a calmer path, without so much headache.
But, even with all this, we continue, because there is this flame within us, an immense desire to create, to express ourselves, to touch someone on the other side. It's a constant battle, but I believe it's this fight that makes art so powerful.
So, being an artist is much more than the glamor that people see. It's a daily battle, a search for recognition, an open-hearted dedication. And despite all the difficulties, we persist, because art is our essence, it is what moves us and makes us feel alive.
