Falcon Crest - Edited Season 6 Cliffhanger

I always felt the scene in which Angela discovers that Richard is her son would have been a better conclusion to season 6 so I've edited the end of the episode 'Desperation' (S06E28) to how I would have preferred it to look.

Ugh. It’s terrible. So tortured and retconned. If this is true, then Jacqueline Perrault’s treatment of Richard earlier in the series makes NO sense. Nor does it make sense that Douglas Channing hid Angela’s baby from her. It was established early in the series that he still loved her and their different career ambitions made it impossible for their marriage to work. A plot twist worthy of a daytime soap opera, written for people who have low standards for writing.

Then the producers changed their minds and told him no
If Robert came back the show would have lasted into 1995
