Cassette tapes are still relevant in computer data back up and storage thank you for keeping them alive and cool !
Dope ass show going over the tapes and movies.
What a treat
I went to High School with "The Boss" in Detroit in the mid 80's. We went to St. Mary's of Redford High School. She did a few songs with MC Eiht and other Westcoast artist from the 90's
2tone is always able to make the most cool, reserved person open up and be a human just enjoying their time
Hands down one of the best episodes to date ! The sharing of all those dope ass og cassettes was amazing !!! 2tone should do an episode where he busts out all his old source magazines and skims through them discussing all the articles and ads
P worthy!! Griselda’s one and only LA artist, he’s goated
Keep’em coming!!

Oh damm nice
I wonder if he has seen "The miseducation of Sonny Carson"? came out in the 70's.
Worthy is hella wholesome.
The roadium is in Gardena not south central
I once read somewhere that Californians don't say their Ts and I feel like I heard that here because Jason actually said the T in Clint Eastwood and it sounded so foreign to me because I'm used to hearing it how 2tone and Worthy were saying it "Clinneastwood" (((stream of consciousness comments to keep the engagement up baybee))
P Worthy ✌🏼✌🏼

Yo Jason get the mic out you mouth boi! I know you like ppl close to the mic but damn. Nearly blew my eardrums out
The Beastie Boys started as a punk band and then picked up hip hop
Sad when Jason knows more about rap than 2tone
28:25 Yo Jason (or whoever behind the camera) your position wafts arrogance. I am a DJ and hip-hop head and I’ve been a fan of hip-hop since 2012 when I got into Eminem and Tupac. Ever since then I’ve been growing my hip-hop knowledge because I knew I wouldn’t gain respect unless I put in the effort to learn the history. And to really understand why rap is how it is, and the reasons we got to where we are, who the trend setters where, and who the mainstream artists where. The way I interoperate your argument boils down to “Kids know more classic rock than classic hip hop”. Am I wrong? What kids? White kids? If I ask a Latino homie about classic rock they don’t know more than like Metallica, maybe Ozzy Osborn. It comes down to different influence. You probably didnt wake up and your parents were listening to rap, other kids did. You probably didn’t get rides in the car and hear rap bumping the whole time. Your perspective is off base man. I was offended when I heard your argument and felt the need to defend the most influential genre known to man hip-hop/rap. To close things out I’d like to leave a quote. “If you’s a player in the game this’ll hold you” -Rappin’ 4 Tay. Peace. ✌️
i agree with your comment but it's not like Jason proposed this and 2Tone and Jay disagreed. they all agreed with the premise. i was screaming at the screen like you guys are so wrong. talking about "people only know the OGs from movies" -- well Straight Outta Compton the movie came out a few years ago... people definitely know the rappers that are equivalent to classic rock bands.
Bootleg from The Dayton Family sampled/jacked that Mc Breed beat. Bootleg feat. MC Breed - No Future
Dude - this is the first episode where I noticed that Jason interjecting (interrupting) is an actual thing. Dude you don’t have to have an opinion on things. Like dude - I don’t tune in to hear your thoughts on shit
Dude sorry dude
