I have never been an arab but I also like everything arabic,maybe I have some arabic roots in the past?
I lived in Europe for 10 years in one of the most vibrant and most visited city it was a dream! but i wasnt happy, there was always emptiness inside, everytime i heard fairouz i cried like a child. I went back to Lebanon despite all the mess, it is home, it is the feeling i dont feel anywhere else. I feel for you, its terrible! Come back home, there is no place like home, get your experience from the west and bring it back and help build your country to a better one.

You forget man you just get involved with the society and non arabian friends and you write, speak and work in another language all the day for years and you hear another music and hear it daily. Then you notice that all this years you had forgotten to listen to your favorite songs as you were young and you discover that they are now old songs and there are new singers and a great number of new songs😅😅 and you had this feelings that they are all not like they used to be when you were a kid like they have no meaning anymore, but Fairuz will always be awesome until the end of time.
I don't know if it was just me or also another people had the same experience.
