Defeats the purpose of finding a cartoon video to explain the healing process. 6 year olds want cold hard literal facts!
*sigh* I was hoping you'd explain the HOW of the "building new tissue" part. Is cellular mitosis increased (breeding new cells faster?), does cellular migration occur? (cells spreading/thining to close the gap), do cells change their nature (fat cells become skin cells)?, does the body bring in T-cells? Do we know which mechanism is rebuilding the desmosomes? I suppose that's more a matter of pure biology than wound healing, but still.
