- Flying with a one year old on the airplane is not for the faint of heart! We made a not very well planned trip to San Diego so our 10 kids could see their grandparents and great grandparents. It was kind of wild but we made it. Aaaand we got the stomach flu! Somehow I was spared the flu but daddy got it bad the last day before we left!

It’s amazing how well behaved they all are, including baby Moses who just goes along with it all

Well organized family..the bigger kids are always helping out with the smaller kids...no complaints, everyone is happy..
Oh my heart, the family prayers, the boys singing hymns with their heart, the family games, etc. -- it all melts my heart. And then Granny calling for Amber to come over to her so she can smother her hand with kisses. Beyond beautiful. The Lord is surely well pleased with all of you. 🙏💞

That is wonderful that you were all able to visit the childeren's great grandmother and grandparents. It seemed to go off without a hitch, except for the stomach flu. Distance makes it hard, but it is nice to have a trip to look forward to visit with family.

Just wanted to pop in to let you know there is a Legoland in Goshen, NY. It opened a couple years ago and honestly all ages will enjoy it! And what a lovely trip to always remember. Sending love! 💚

The baby travels so well. Former military family here, so it bring back memories of our home schooling - our extensive traveling and moving days even living in temporary close quarters - living and traveling in Germany 3 years - and even the DC area - riding the metro - except we only had 3 kids but all born in 3 years. I have no idea how you do it with your 10. You’re so calm. I guess that’s the key. Plus your hubby is a big help. Being military I was alone much of the time. Your children are very talented. Keep up the good work.

To have to pay for 12 air tickets and thats just the beginning just blows my mind. Very good well behaved children thank god, even baby Mo is quiet with all this early upheaval is a miracle. Stressful is not the word coping with so many children though.

I love how well they travel, even just on and off the subways, etc. I sometimes stress getting around on them just on my own with nobody in tow!
Love the travel video. I had to fly across the country to L.A. for surgery. Only 2 planes, but very challenging as I cannot walk any distance. Moses is a delight. His smile is contagious.
What a wonderful visit with great grandma. It's sad that Melody and Mark caught the flu. Hopefully, that was the end of it.

I really enjoyed this video. What a huge effort it was getting to Santiago. i will never travel now like i did 60 yrs ago and would not have flown from NY. felt sorry for Melody and Mark on the homeward flight. he was so brave when feeling the tummy bug.. happy Christmas to you all.

This is my first comment ever on CZcams!! I found you guys and have been binge watching. I just love watching your family. I was only able to have one child. So I live vicariously through you. I do have a question, how long did it take you guys to walk/subway to airport? I was amazed how the kids hung in there!!

Mean this in a constructive way - it’s unfortunately not surprising to hear of the illness from the trip, especially in late December/ early January. Highly recommend wearing masks next time, especially around grandma.

Have you considered flying out of Newark instead of JFK? You could drive and park in long term lot. Might be a time saver in the long run.
