Thank you God for posting this I remember this growing up'70s and Church in the US. Heavenly father thank you for all your protection with your angels and Saints and you. If you all don't mind please keep me in your prayers as I have been in abusive relationship I left last year and I have nobody to turn to this man left me with a place to pay for that I have no means because I'm high functioning disabled and he works at the IRS and he could afford this place which I can't this man is financially abused me and I was supposed to get into a domestic violence program as he went down and caught the place on fire god I don't know why I'm going through this you say in your timing things will work out I've been praying for 20 something years and this man is so jealous of me because I have spiritual gifts and God's not protecting him because he's evil Jesus I know you're there but I just feel with my depression and my anxiety so hopeless right now I don't have any friends I don't have anybody I can turn to if anybody can you all put me on a prayer chain adoration whatever you can I appreciate it God please don't make me be homeless with an emotional support cat as I'm in a state where this person took everything away all my friends everybody I knew and my parents can't help me because they're all sickly in the name of Jesus please send away where there doesn't seem to be a way financially help to get out of debt and so on in the name of Jesus thank you
A truly beautiful hymn sadly not heard a lot nowadays in churches. We simply MUST keep these lovely masterpieces going in our music ministries. We will be bringing it back to our own parish very soon here in the UK. Thank you SO much for posting! 🙏💖
I sang this with a contemporary choir at two different churches from the late 70s through the early 90s. It is just about my favorite of the St. Louis Jesuit songs. The lyrics are just so beautiful! Dan Schutte was a master at this type of music. By the way, I am iin the Chicago area.
