Pat, can you share why you were using the forward imaging and not the landscape mode? I've been waiting to hear your input on Mega Live for casting scenarios. You had a good day on Leech with that kind of weather. Those are tough conditions for sure!

Hey Patrick, at this time I had only had MEGA Live for about a week or two. I really hadn't had a ton of time to use it while casting for muskies. I'm still learning, but landscape mode to me is used best when in shallow water 8 feet or less, and the bottom is relatively flat, meaning not many weeds or rocks to obstruct the view. I plan on diving into using MEGA live for muskies this season. IMO in order to use it correctly, it will change the way you fish for them completely.

bluebird sky and flat calm is just the conditions i caught my 52" in probably that same location as that high 40" fish

Technology is great and all but live imagining is going to ruin the sport, why would anyone want to sit and stare at a screen the whole time? Most people I hear about just drive around aimlessly till they spot fish with the live imagining then cast till they get a reaction (especially guides) Muskie fishing for me is all about the challenge and putting in the hard work, being suprised by a big follow or getting hammered mid retrieve is a far better feeling than seeing it coming live imagining

True. But these guys are not using it that way. It can be used ethically. The non ethical way that you're referring to is not ok.
