In 2014 my cousin put me in a wheelchair by crashing into a tree going 100+ mph despite me begging her to slow down. She didn't visit me in the hospital. While she was getting an upgraded vehicle, I was getting back surgery and being monitored for brain injury. She refused to help in anyway. When I found out Judge Judy compensates victims without it coming out of the perpetrators pocket, me being desperate for financial help for medical and living, she told me she wanted to put it behind her whilst I was stuck in the wheelchair. It's a different type of betrayal and hurt when the person you trust, maimes and permanently injures you. Watching them live an enjoyable existence while you suffer. My heart truly goes to Jeff and I keep him close in prayers.

We still talk, and keep in touch with how my recovery is going I feel so bad that Jeff had to go through that trauma, AND has to relive it with all the surgeries, and a POS “friend” who is causing more pain and suffering

@SpillSesh regardless of my feelings on Jeff, and I am no fan of David, let's be honest... at the time in 2022 when Casey's doc went to the SxSW film festival, David still had a lot of liquidity. Both David and Casey had noted that Casey garnered so much access to TVS because of his friendship with DD. So... It adds up that a doc like this, that was not all flattering to DD, and that had huge buzz comeing out of the festival as this one did would have surely been sold and distributed. The simplest likley outcome is that it was purchased by DD from Casey so he could never release it, and bury it forever. I also doubt Casey would never release it just as a friend as all doc filmmakers need their films to sell as they never make much money otherwise. They could do that deal together privately and unless it was formaly investigated by the feds, police, or the justice system, we'll never know that. If I were David at that point in 2022, that is what i would have done.

The whole NFT/digital currency crap all the influencers pushed needed to be addressed. Dogacoin was pushed so hard and most creators never put the disclaimer that it wasn’t financial advice. I was surprised to find that quite a few people still do, I've mostly seen them on Twitter though
David is an idol and lots of kis worship him. Their parents never got them into religion or showed them how to worship God. They are of this world.

I see a lot of people in his comments “just move on”, but it’s been years and he still has surgeries and is terribly affected by it. And it’s not only that, but to discovered you so called friend not caring about you… Big part of this is David literally feeling no remorse over it, money and lawsuits aside.
You can see in tbe video of the accident that Jeff was spinning super fast. David is filming on his phone while 'driving'. Jeff requested to stop. David being unexperienced literally stopped rather than slowing down. Hence Jeffs head smashing into the crane arm. It was horrific. So many bad choices.
What also annoys me is david was literally a couple feet from him, and people coming from the shore made it out to him first.

@SpillSesh regardless of my feelings on Jeff, and I am no fan of David, let's be honest... at the time in 2022 when Casey's doc went to the SxSW film festival, David still had a lot of liquidity. Both David and Casey had noted that Casey garnered so much access to TVS because of his friendship with DD. So... It adds up that a doc like this, that was not all flattering to DD, and that had huge buzz comeing out of the festival as this one did would have surely been sold and distributed. The simplest likley outcome is that it was purchased by DD from Casey so he could never release it, and bury it forever. I also doubt Casey would never release it just as a friend as all doc filmmakers need their films to sell as they never make much money otherwise. They could do that deal together privately and unless it was formaly investigated by the feds, police, or the justice system, we'll never know that. If I were David at that point in 2022, that is what i would have done.

Imo it seems like the case will be dismissed as its reckless endangerment on both ends…not only that its illegal to use equipment outside intended use. The only thing that I think Jeff has a case on is the fact that david agreed to pay his medical fees and didnt.
David has added responsibility and liability as an employer. It’s not the same as your friend being negligent and hurting you. I don’t know for sure, but I think Jeff’s team will have a pretty good case and be able to prove David was employing Jeff when he harmed him.

Casey likely hasn’t released the doc for liability reasons. If Casey uploads it to his channel and David sues, the liability falls on Casey. If Netflix uploads the doc and David sues, the liability falls on Netflix. Netflix can afford an endless, pointless lawsuit, but as seen with Jeff’s situation, it’s much harder on an individual.

In my opinion, when you argue with random strangers on the Internet about your situation, who these random strangers have no idea what is going on in your life, especially a celebrity or some form of a public figure in anyway then you shouldn’t be arguing with random people in the Internet, it makes you look weak and makes you look really dumb and immature and insecure not a good look for anybody but especially a public figure However, as much as I don’t like as a person, he does have every right to defend himself and in front of whoever whenever he wants because from what I saw and all these clips and things it looked like he did try to be cordial at least with David and David was just being clear asshole back, which is what triggered his anger because he wasn’t angry at first.
