Recently I upgraded from an XR to a 13 pro max . Couldn’t be so much happier . Yes the 14 is better but the price difference were in Europe for me is not worth the money.

Fun fact, IPhone 14 Pros screen is actually larger, it is 6.12 inches compared to 13 Pros 6.06 inches but as apple rounds it, they are both marketed as 6.1

@@nickackermanchannel I can’t wait until next Friday because I want to see how the iPhone 14+ does in overall popularity and sales. so far the pre-orders weren’t really that impressive, they were lower than the iPhone minis. and Apple has reportedly cut production of the iPhone 14 to focus mostly on meeting demand. for the iPhone 14 Pro. I can’t wait to see if the iPhone 14+ will be a commercial success or a commercial flop.

I gonna ask my mom for Christmas for an iPhone 13 Pro because it pretty much the same think as the iPhone 14 Pros so its really pretty much the same thing there! Also, I love your videos, I watch them all of the time at school when I have break, lunck, study hall or when I finish my work early!
I notice the speed. When I swipe down to search apps, it populates apps much faster and opens them in a heartbeat. Also websites fell twice as fast, not as fast as my m2 iPad

AoD on the 14pro drains the battery and can’t last 7-8 hours SoT on 5g but still can reach 6h30mins
Thanks for these videos Nick, been waiting for this one specially as I just recently upgraded from an 11 Pro to a 13 Pro (I wanted to wait for the 14 Pro but my screen was broken and I had an upgrade so new phone was cheapest option and obviously couldn’t wait lol).
Anyway, I ran Geekbench on my 13 Pro recently and scored as follows:
Single Core- 1740
Multi Core- 4780
Bit above the average 13 Pro numbers and certainly above your test here. The difference certainly isn’t much! I like the Dynamic Island idea (wish it sat flush with the top of the phone instead of having a sliver of screen between it and the top) and the cameras sound nice, but I couldn’t be happier with this 13 Pro! My 11 Pro was still fast enough for me though wasn’t planning on upgrading for 1-2 more years 😅 Take care!

I own the 14 Pro with black mate color. Is an amazing phone. I skip the next few. I keep my iPhones about 3-4 years.
Better 5G speed and reliability and much better camera for more serious photography and video , that's for me. Yes also when hiking, that extra brightness is helpful. 14 pro pros

only reason I got an 14ProMax was cause Verizon has a heck of a deal on trade in. Traded an S22+ and got my Max for 400$ for a 256gb. Just wanted a bigger iPhone versus my 13Pro. Gave that (13Pro) to the wife...she's happy, I'm happy!
If iland always has some things,tasks that work in the bacground then it may be the reason its not faster,background stuff dont allow it to be faster.

When it comes to overall great iPhone performance and really high benchmarks, I think Apple peaked with the A15 Bionic. The A16 bionic. May have higher benchmark scores, and a slightly faster. CPU, it still feels exactly the same as. The A15 Bionic..
Maybe some type of green but we will have to see. 11 Pro and 13/13Pro all had green offerings at some point with 11 Pro being a launch color (that’s the one I had and while I wished to get the green 13 Pro they were back-ordered so Sierra Blue it was and she’s a beaut imo!)

You've been making these videos for a while now, and while I appreciate the fact that you make them at all, there's a few things that drive me absolutely nuts.
It seems pretty clear that the phones tested are in different software states. I don't mean different software versions (16.4 vs 16.3 for example). What I mean is that you didn't run a full reset and set each phone up identically, step by step, before this test. This makes a difference.
@2:25 - App store in a different software state, CZcams needs an update - this is more CPU cycles and data that needs to be pulled from the network
@4:47 - CrossyRoad has clearly been opened at least once on the 14Pro, not on the 13, hence the popup for local devices. This also means the 14 Pro likely had a system cache for the app. Same for Geekbench, likely didn't have a system cache, which could be the reason for the huge difference in loading time as it was built when you launched it.
These are small things, but if you're testing speed, having as much as possible identical is the way to do it. Please, system reset each device and make all of their apps, software states, amount of times opened for each app prior to test, etc identical for future tests.
Only trying to offer constructive criticism here, no offense meant.

It is , look at the dimensions, it’s exactly the same width but a little bit taller cause the screen is actually bigger but they still round it to 6’1
