When driving you should be centred in your lane. This driving skill is critical for a driver's test. If you touch the line of the other lanes, you will be assigned demerits. If you are constantly wandering, you may not be successful on your driver's test. Look farther down the road, follow other traffic, and identify landmarks. The vehicle will go where you're looking.
Good luck on your road test.

People say "look down the road" but that doesn't helo at all, I'm sitting on the left side of the car and the perspective doesn't allow me to judge if I'm over the line or well centered
I agree! He didn’t explain how at all
Some driver instructors teach to hug the line to maintain staying centered
That's unfortunate. It's not a good teaching strategy. The student never really learns how to stay centred in the lane. And after she/he get a license, the new driver now has a bad habit of being too are to one side or the other of the lane. All the best, Cheers Rick
How to know where the wheels are?
It's hard, it feels like you have about 3 inches on either side of you when your centered so it doesn't take much to hit the lines
How to stay in center of lane while driving with one eye?
As in you only have one eye, or you're closing one eye? See this vid on staying centred in the lane: czcams.com/video/pwkYPKzXnRs/video.html Drop us a note if we can help further. Cheers Rick
@@smartdrivetest I only have vision in one eye, and already seen this video along with your other ones. Last one I watched was you yelling at the screen to not stop or slow while merging on a highway. Cracked me up because you’re usually calmer. Thanks for your videos.
i saw some guy driving in the middle of the road. the yellow line is right below the middle of his car.
Must of been Houston
He’s practicing so when he does drive next time he can be more in the center. Think of it like bumpers down a bowling lane 😆
