STAYC stands for Stars For A Young Culture and they, along with Weeekly (that's not a typo) are, imo, the strongest girl group debuts this year.
Other groups include Aespa, who certainly had the splashiest debut, but their song Black Mamba lacked a certain something.
Bling Bling had a decent debut with G.G.B. but they had the misfortune of debuting the same day as Aespa and were lost in the hype. I hope they can gain some attention.
Purple Kiss released a pre-debut song, My Heart Skip A Beat, and is scheduled to debut early next year once their maknae comes back from a health break.
OMG, someone else gets it! I honestly think Bling Bling had a better debut song than aespa but of course big 3 hype & marketing took over. No hate on aespa because Black Mamba is pretty good G.G.B. hits different, it’s so damn good. And don’t get me started on La La La!
And for me I’d say StayC, Secret Number, Bling bling & Woo!ah! had the strongest debuts but Weeekly was really good too! All in all a good year for gg debuts. And I can’t wait for Purple Kiss!

Black Eyed Pilseung is a production duo that produced several of Twice's and Apink's songs and individually they've been involved in a lot more.

I absolutely LOVE girls with deep vocals!! J and Sumin are my faves in StayC, even if I've only heard this one song from them so far~ Also the whole drum-n-bass style of the song is super refreshing to hear in kpop! Oh and the space set in the MV is a big favotire of mine!! 💖
