The mk43 ejecting out of the hulkbuster is such a great display option for showing off as much of both of the figures as you possibly can. Unfortunately, not very space efficient, the hulkbuster has its own size.. but it's just... so cool!!
Great review! This really makes me hope DLX would do pacific rim one day. Soul of chogokin gipsy danger was awesome, but it’s a shame the line got canceled.
I definitely agree! DLX could definitely do wonders for Pacific Rim, especially if they gave it the same treatment as their Transformers lines. Unfortunately Soul Of Chogokin only made two figures, with only one being released. Crimson Typhoon was showcased, but never released.
Should also definitely include the damaged arm from the beginning of the film and a damage head/cockpit from the attack and the damaged chest and etc.

I do love their DLX line and already had 5 Transformers. Will pre order MK46 and Iron Patriot as well. Really good figure for the price. Mini Hot Toys basically but less than £100 compared to £300-400.
Just gonna clear this up. There are actually 11 arc reactors including the ones on the knees. The reason for this is because it is way bigger than the normal suit so it needs more power.

I usually don't care for marvel figures but this is crazy impressive. The detail is amazing. This thing is fucking insane.

A great review! I ordered both of these guys recently. Mark XLIII is already here and I’m SO impressed with him. I have quite a few Hasbro variations of MCU Iron man and he does stand a little taller, but not ridiculously taller. Hulkbuster on the other hand, I expect to tower over the rest; as it should! Can’t wait for it to get to my mailbox! Seeing a video like this dissolves ALL remaining doubt about going for these two figures! 👍🏼

@@PrimeVsPrime Got mine yesterday. I am actually very disappointed. It has good articulation but some of the plastic parts have come off and I have had to put them back on and it is are very fidgety to move about and I keep worrying parts are going to rub against each other. My Comicave version is much better, despite the limited articulation. With it's better paint, die-cast body, articulated hands, more light-up areas and mechanized chest action revealing the included Mark 43. And I only paid slightly more over the Threezero when I got it last year. 3Z have shown they can do much better, as shown with their DLX Transformers before even taking into account their Premium line.
With the MK46 iron Man this set will be worth a fair bit in the future. Just ordered both for my office / man cave. Looks awesome.
Threezero does such amazing work. May have to break down and figure how to get the funds for this guy if it comes bk around. Even though didn’t preordered this one figure I’m dying to see is their premium Transformers Optimus Prime (bumblebee) version. Got the Dlx version of him and that one blows me away as is but man o man even though will never be able to get the premium one I can’t wait to see how and what it looks like and the articulation engineering they do to that figure.
one thing i wish this came with was the replacement arm he had in the movie

this is literally like a mini hot toys figure, which, is amazing, even the other threezero iron man figures too, really do think that this does a better job of intergrating of the real mk 43 suit with this

Everything exactly as I expected and predicted. I have MK43 and Comicave version of Hulkbuster. Comicave version is smaller than this but heavier at nearly 2kg since 75% diecast. Also it has more LED lights on arms and legs. In face double the amount of lights but compromise on articulation.

@@Keepinitreel108 if you want more diecast with LED and also less shelf space, then comicave, if you want decent articulation then threezero. Check out my comicave version on my channel if you want.

Imo in terms of design this hulkbuster looks so much more bulky than the one in infinity war.
Also, out of all iron man suits my no.1 is mk 6 2.mk80 3.mk 17 4.mk 44 hulkbuster

S.H Figuarts/Chogokin made an Infinity War Hulkbuster a few years ago. It has pretty good articulation and the skeleton is diecast so it has some weight to it. It stands about 10" tall. But I am sure if ThreeZero makes one it will be amazing.

I’d say it’s about 35% diecast maybe? Most of it is internal so it’s hard to say

I just wish they made it to where the entire figure could fit inside of the hulk buster, without removing more than half of the iron man figures body😭
unfortunately that would be next to impossible to keep it in scale, at threezero's DLX price point, and with the level of detail that people expect
