  • I use plywood and coffee to make a beautiful bowl. This took several days and lots of sharpening my tools. Leave a like subscribe and comment! Check out God the Father Apparel godthefatherapparel.com/jacob... use my code Kings15 for 15% off

    I've thought about doing that but you beat me to it 😊. Very interesting to see how it turns out.

    I use a lot of coffee and epoxy in my turning. I'm not a big fan of the other colors. I just like the way it looks. I never tried wood glue and coffee but it looks like it works just fine 👍

    That is actually OSB or partial board but, great work anyway.

      Yes but most people would associate this with plywood, there’s a bunch of folks that wouldn’t know what osb, partial board, or wafer board is. Thank you for your view and comment!

    It turned out way nicer Than I figured it would, so good for you , but it’s not plywood, it’s waferboard. There is a world of difference.

      Yes but most people would associate this with plywood. Could’ve called it wafer board yes but I could’ve also called it strand board or osb. More people are familiar with plywood than these other names. Thank you for your comment

    Looks more like chip board than plywood.

      Chip board, osb, wafer board, it has many names but most people don’t know these names they only know plywood

    Wow, that is every bit as beautiful as a hybrid, wood/resin bowl but without all of that resin. Great job!👍👍

    I like your lathe. Do you have footage of the build?

      It’s a Vega 1446, I don’t think Vega is making lathes anymore. It’s 8 ft long with a 15 inch swing gets up to 1800 rpms variable speed with forward and reverse. It’s difficult to find much about it online so I’ve had to learn as I go

    Fun idea :) One comment though, more on the video editing. Your voice level is really quiet compared to the music volume. Might be worth trying to balance those volumes more evenly.

      Yes I think I have a better balance on my newer videos, still learning lol

    Are there any warnings about the glue used in the original OSB?

    • @WhenLifeTurns
      @WhenLifeTurns  Před 8 měsíci +1

      I’m sorry I don’t think I understand your question. The glue used in the osb definitely made it all harder
