      Just keep an eye on temp if u have gone feryy hi on c2 as two and three get hoter than one and four

    all these settings are only work till 2500rpm . then it does what the ecu map says.

      Really? So it only affects idle and taking off from a stop. Will it help smooth out the throttle a bit?

      @@BaldKiwi117 could explain why my bike seems to be to rich when i just ride it about 1000meters to get down a hill (instead of having to walk up and down it i just ride my bike down it and then walk rest of the way) always smells like fuel after those short rides and it consumes gas like crazy during those small trips. could just be the Co settings that are high from previous owner and causing my bike to chug gas as i usually stay in the 2000-2500rpm range to not make to much noise. i can go on nice rides without losing a bar of gas but ride it down the hill a couple of times per week like max 3-4times and it goes through the bars like crazy

      Yeah you can't just change values in these modes. There are a lot of other things that need to be adjusted or you're just going to screw everything up. Just have your ECU reflashed and follow the instructions. I used Ivan. My FZ1 is great now.

    Darren Russell it controls how much fuel goes into cylinders 1 and 4 and 2 and 3 free you can up it or down it
    Defaults is c1 - 16 c2 5

      I do c1 10 c2 10 it will go like stink but the engine will overheat very quickly

      @@jameshiggins39 My 2004 Fz6 settings were C1 5 and C2 5, now I've changed them both to -18. Isn't your bike running a bit rich with those settings? Isn't better if we set both to the same value?

      Mind you that average is travelling between 60 to 70 mph

      @@KleantRrera the inner two cylinders on a four cylinder usually run a bit richer to benefit from extra cooling effects due to extra fuel

    What is the difference between what the code does and what the Power Commander does? Or are the effects same if one wants either more torque or high-end power?

    There are sensors you need to adjust if you change this value. I think it's pretty dangerous to be messing around with this unless you know what you're doing.

    Thank you so much for the video.Which setting does least harm to the environment? I got a used fz6 recently but stinks a lot. And I want to save fuel. My mpg is arouns 25. What should I do with the settings?
    my current setting is -5, 11 respectively.

      25 mpg ...clearly something is wrong. try the setting c1 -18 and c2 on 5

    what do the numbers mean cause my fz6 runs hot and mine are set at c1=11 and c2=3 so its lower than stoick but runs hot?

      I would recommend checking your coolant levels stationery on idle they do get rather hot but cool down once you start moving

      @@jameshiggins39 yea the bike just runs one bar hotter than my previous fz6 but its not a problem as the fan kicks in if it gets to hot. ive been told it could just be the temp gauge . mine mostly runs on halfway on the gauge and tends to stay at halfway unless in standing traffic. my previuos fz6 ran on 2 bars on the temp so it just reads one extra bar. its done 23,000 mile like that so its not a problem

      @@lllucky13 that could be your thermostat could be on it's way out or the temp sender to test the temperature sender to the clocks merely disconnect the wire from it and ground it

      Lower values mean less fuel as far as I know. And the less fuel it burnes, the leaner it runs. And leaner petrol engines run hotter.

    Mine s2 2008 have c1 = 0 and c2 = 0 , I change to try c1 = -3 and c2 = 16....feel much more power ...is bad to change it or ?

      С1 променя настройките на 1-4ти цилиндър(външните) С2 променя на 2-3ти(вътрешни) идеята да има разлика(с2 да е по-малко) е да охлажда вътрешните 2 малко повече. Виждал съм и с много над тези стоиности да карат. Аз съм със с1=20 и с2=15 но съм и с отворена генерация. Опитай, импровизирай. Аз целя повече мощност за сметка на икономия, като дори и пука здраво отзад. Зависи от стила на каране, но спокойно можеш да импровизираш. Просто следи температурата как е, особено в градски условия(задръствания) или при натоварвания, разхода също, звука и той. Това е.

    Hey mate .Just picked up a 05 fazer with a k&n air filter and dekevlic slips on and the bike is set at c1 -9 c2 5 ..Goes fine ..bit of a slump before the power band .at 5.5k..what ya recon..

      Typically if aftermarket slipons and air filters are installed, you should increase c1 to about 15 and c2 to about 20.. mine with remus slipons and simota air filters and these settings run well, minimal backfire too

    I changed on my bike from C1(5) and C2(5) to C1(-18) and C2(-18). Am I risking anything? Is it too lean? Did the changes for more fuel economy, but don't want to cause any unwanted problem to my bike.

      I would say hand on heart the best setting I found C1 10 c2 10 will run like a bomb as you may know with the Fraser they are not in line parallel 4
      They are Crossflow engines meaning the firing sequence is 1243

      @@jameshiggins39 But isn't that a bit rich mixture? Are you hearing pops from exhaust? I changed first the settings to C1 -18 and C2 -5. The engine run much better in idle. Now my settings are both at -18.

    2008 fazer also c1 -16 and c2 5 is the factory setting? because currently c1 0 and c2 0 are the setting. Thank you in advance for your help

    If these values are out of wak, will it make my bike have a slight miss at idel? Does anyone know? I have just changed the plugs and that seems to help it at first but now it is doing it again...

    When I do this is says "do1" instead of "co", there seems to be a lot of D codes but no C codes and it wont let me change anything. How do you get around this?

      Sorry I have got absolutely no idea you could try holding the two buttons down together and see if that helps the do1 might be just dew to change in the firmware

      @@jameshiggins39 I think in the US or maybe it is the California version, the CO menu is locked out. We only have diagnostic mode.

      @@smoke05s yeah US only got diag mode. but the co mode is unlockable. you have to use som wire to connect somthing. not 100% sure exactly what but if you google it i'm sure you will find it :)

      in USA the Co mode is locked. you need to use a wire to connect somthing together. don't know exactly why just read about it on fz forums and other Americans that had the same problem so just quickly glanced through it.

      C1 -16 c2 5 that is what the settings of mine was when I altered it the first time and the exhaust pops for the simple reason the efr system on the head to air box if you have got aftermarket exhaust the stock exhaust does not pop

      Sort of but you have to get it right if you don't you will end up having the engine running very rich for the maximum efficiency I recommend +10 +10

    I have Fazer S2 2009: original Is C01 0 e CO2 0. I set C01 -3 e C02 16 and i find It Is ok

      Try pressing reset to get the co up and make sure the kill switch is switched on and try it also with the kill switch off Yamaha my of patched it what year is your Yamaha

      USA ones are locked and only have diag mode open. but you can get to the Co menue by putting in a wire. i don't know the exact process just know you have to connect a wire to somthing to bypass the co lock as that's what i read on fz forums from people in US

      Turn up the mixture on c1 leave 2
      C2 alow put it on 20 but put it back down

      C1 is cylinders 1 and 4 C2 is cylinders 2 and 3 and the reason why C1 normally a higher number those cylinders are on the outside of the engine 2 3 in the middle and lots of people put on Lower value for 2 and 3 but you do not need to
